Mark Ruffalo is the latest celebrity to weigh in on the viral Milk Crate Challenge, posting his thoughts on whether Hulk would attempt the questionable trend. Ruffalo has played Bruce Banner/Hulk in the MCU since 2012's The Avengers, and has reprised the role in all succeeding Avengers films. Ruffalo's Hulk also appeared in Iron Man 3, Thor: Ragnarok, and Captain Marvel. After the events of Avengers: Endgamemany fans feared that Ruffalo would exit the franchise with Dr. Banner fully embracing his alter ego. However, the actor is still part of the MCU and has a few projects in the works.

Ruffalo is set to make another appearance as Hulk in the upcoming She-Hulk. The series is part of Marvel's Disney+ catalog, which has already released WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki. Ruffalo also voiced Hulk in the third episode of What If...?, an animated series that explores alternate timelines in the MCU and turns major events from the previous films on their heads. What If...? premiered on August 11 on Disney+ and is expected to air another season next year.

Ruffalo once again referenced his superhero character as he responded to the growing Milk Crate Challenge trend on Twitter. The challenge, which is sweeping across TikTok, sees people try to walk up and down a pile of empty milk crates that are arranged in a staircase shape. Naturally, most participants who attempt it fail and topple over. According to Ruffalo, people won't likely see Hulk take part in the trend because of his aversion to stairs. The 53-year-old actor posted a GIF quoting Hulk in Endgame, when the green hero angrily exclaims, "No stairs!" after the Avengers take the elevator without him. Ruffalo isn't the only celebrity to notice the Milk Crate Challenge. Comedian and TV host Conan O'Brien also took to Twitter to call out the dangers of the new internet obsession. While it is obviously meant to be a mindless, just-for-laughs gag, there are serious dangers posed by climbing a stack of wobbly plastic containers. In fact, doctors and medical professionals have urged people to stop attempting the challenge after numerous reports of injury.

It's not hard to imagine how things would end for Hulk if he did the Milk Crate Challenge. The Avenger's knack for destroying things makes him a bad candidate. If there's a Marvel superhero who could possibly win at the game, it would most likely be Tom Holland's light-footed Spider-Man. Regardless, while Ruffalo may not have directly slammed the dangerous trend, his tweet hopefully discouraged his followers from attempting it. Take it from the real Hulk, and don't try the Milk Crate Challenge at home.
