Warning! Spoilers for Hulk #5 by Marvel Comics

In one of the darkest moments for Bruce Banner, the hero just lost control of the Hulk, as a new force inside the Engine Room sends his rage and power to an all-new level. In Hulk #5 by Marvel Comics, Betsy Ross takes over Starship Hulk and pushes the Jade Giant's rage up significantly. In the process, she's unlocked a new power level that makes the Hulk more deadly than ever.

In the current Hulk ongoing series, Bruce Banner controls the Hulk from inside his psyche, operating the monster like a starship. He powers the Hulk's rage inside the Engine Room, where a version of the Jade Giant fights against powerful enemies to fuel the real-world's Hulk rage. So far, the Engine Room featured epic battles such as the Hulk taking on Marvel Zombies, Fin Fang Foom, and a giant-sized Wolverine. However, as Banner loses control of the Engine Room, the Hulk inside the Hulk is taking on opponents on a level he's never seen before.

In Hulk #5 by Donny Cates, Ryan Ottley, Cliff Rathburn, Frank Martin, and VC's Cory Petit, the Hulk takes on Abominations, including a Gamma-powered Peter Parker in an alternate reality where Bruce Banner never became the Hulk. However, as Banner controls the Hulk inside his psyche, Betty Ross (who tells him she's not real) watches as he ups the Engine Room to level five. However, Banner soon loses control, and Ross seemingly reveals themselves to be Brian Banner, as they push the Engine Room from six all the way up to nine - leading the Hulk to obliterate the Abominations as his rage and power reach new heights as he shoots lasers out of his eyes.

Hulk Powers God

With Bruce Banner being pushed aside, a new evil force has taken control of the Hulk and the Engine Room, which is bad news for everyone who is about to get in its way. By taking the Engine Room from stage six (demons) to nine, the Hulk is about to face off against a group of villains with indescribable power. What could be three and four levels head of gods and demons, respectively? Perhaps, Cosmic beings? or Titan?

With the deadliest Hulk ever, Titan, arriving in the next issue, Bruce Banner is in heaps of trouble as he loses control of Starship Hulk. The Hulk's rage and power are now at insane levels thanks to the Engine Room being pushed to new, dangerous stages. Will Banner survive the takeover? Can the rest of the world survive a god-tier powered Hulk under new control? Readers will find out more soon, as Hulk #5 by Marvel Comics is in stores now.
