Warning! Spoilers for Hulk #7 by Marvel Comics

The Hulk's powers and strength are officially hitting a new gear, as the Jade Giant takes on a Celestial-powered Iron Man with incredible abilities and manages to withstand the god's attack. In a new look at Hulk #7 by Marvel Comics, Starship Hulk takes on a reworked Celestial, showing his amazing durability reaching new heights as he takes on some of the most punishing blows he's ever faced.

The Banner of War crossover from Marvel Comics has pitted the Hulk against Thor in a battle of power and strength to determine the strongest hero in the Marvel Universe. However, the fight isn't for sport or fun, as the God of Thunder is trying to apprehend the Jade Giant for his deadly attack on El Paso, where Bruce Banner killed 17 people after losing control. Their fight has taken them to the Black Hand of God, the severed hand of a Celestial turned into a gladiator arena. But, as Thor and Hulk's battle is underway, Iron Man joined the proceedings, bringing his Celestial Hulkbuster armor to try to end the chaos.

In a new look at Hulk #7 by Donny Cates, Martin Coccolo, Matt Wilson, and VC's Joe Sabino, Iron Man's Celestial armor reveals its true power. On the Black Hand of God, the gauntlet is abandoned as the two powerhouses fight. Iron Man's Celestial Hulkbuster shoots a powerful "cosmic maelstrom which unleashes an infinite ocean of pain that humankind cannot perceive." However, the Hulk uses his strength to withstand the attack from the literal god armor, as his body takes on the brunt of the attacks and becomes increasingly deformed and melted.

The Hulk's power and strength are at an all-time high, as Starship Hulk is taking on attacks from a god-like Celestial Hulkbuster and surviving, despite going up against the most powerful weapon ever designed to stop him. Absorbing the upgraded Celestial's attack, while incredibly painful, shows the Hulk has reached a new level of defensive prowess, as his strength means he has a chance to take down the Celestial - which, even in control of Iron Man and reworked as an armor, is insane.

The Hulk battling a Celestial-powered Iron Man and taking on the "infinite ocean of pain" that "humankind cannot perceive" shows his inner strength is reaching a place never seen before. Should the Hulk come out victorious against the Celestial Hulkbuster, it marks an all-new level for the hero's power, as beating a god-like opponent specifically designed to take him down would be a new feat. How many heroes can say they took on a Celestial one-on-one and won? Hulk's battle against Iron Man's Celestial Hulkbuster continues in Hulk #7 by Marvel Comics, which is in comic book stores on Wednesday.
