No genre is as obsessed with the idea of death as the horror film. Any time that a person goes to a horror movie, it’s pretty much guaranteed that someone is going to die or, if that doesn’t happen, that someone in the film is already dead and is haunting the living. Of course, the ways in which people die are as varied as the horror films, with people getting eaten, dismembered, or just plain stabbed to death with frightening regularity.
Given this, it’s actually rather morbidly fun to think about how one might die in a horror film based on where one falls in the zodiac.
Aries -Tries To Hold Off the Villain By Themselves
Anyone who knows an Aries knows that they can be a little stubborn (they are the ram, after all), so it would make sense that they would almost certainly be the one that dies while trying to hold off the villain by themselves.
While this is certainly a laudable way to go, perhaps those who are born under this sign should consider changing some of their ways of being in the world so that they don’t end up dead in a horror film.
Taurus - Refusing To Leave Someone Behind
Like Aries, Taurus can be a bit stubborn, but it has to be said that they are also very loyal to their friends. If a Taurus is in a horror movie, it’s pretty certain that they’d be one of those people who would try to make sure that everyone got away from the monster or killer.
Unfortunately, this would mean that they would almost definitely be one of those who meets their demise at the hands of the evil thing.
Gemini - Not Being Able To Make Up Their Mind About Which Way To Run
There’s a very good reason that Gemini is represented by the sign of the twins. Almost every Gemini has two personalities that are always vying for control of their minds.
This would definitely be a liability in a horror film, and it seems pretty likely that they’d feel themselves torn into separate directions, both metaphorically and literally (since the monster would get them while they were trying to decide what to do).
Cancer - Killed While Yelling At Other People For Being Stupid
Cancers can be, to put it delicately, a bit self-involved. As a result, they tend to project their own fears and failings onto other people.
In a horror film, they’d probably be that person that seems unable to take accountability for anything and so blames the other members of the group for being stupid. It’s pretty likely that, considering how things go in horror films, they’d be taken out while in the middle of such a diatribe.
Leo - Trying To Be The Center Of Attention
Leos are, without a doubt, the most self-centered of the signs. It’s not really their fault; they just have the pride of a lion.
However, when one is in a horror film, it’s usually better to lie low as much as possible, so that one doesn’t draw the attention of the monster or the killer. Everyone knows that this would be absolutely impossible for the Leo, and they’d probably end up being killed simply by being themselves.
Virgo - Insisting the Monster Isn’t Real
If Virgo has one fault, it’s that they tend to be the most logical of the signs, sometimes to their own detriment. Every horror film has that one person who continues to insist that the monster or the killer isn’t real, despite all of the evidence to the contrary.
It’s pretty likely that this person is a Virgo, and they end up not believing in the evil thing until the very last minute, which usually is about the same time that they meet their inevitable demise.
Libra - Snatched While Trying To Make the Group Agree On A Plan
Libras are born negotiators and conciliators. This makes sense, since they strive for balance in most aspects of their lives.
However, in horror films this means that they’re most likely going to be the ones who waste entirely too much time trying to get everyone to agree on a plan, even when it’s pretty clear that that isn’t going to happen. As a result, they’re probably going to get taken out by negotiating when they should have just run away at the first sign of trouble.
Scorpio - Killed While Making Out
It’s kind of a rule in horror films that people who engage in any kind of erotic or sexual activity have to meet a rather gruesome demise.
And, let’s be real, Scorpios are some of the sexiest signs in the zodiac. It’s pretty obvious that they’d be one member of the tragic couple that, because they’re making out in the woods, ends up getting stabbed to death or eaten by the creature.
Sagittarius - Claims They’re the Genius With the Best Plan
As a fire sign, Sagittarius tends to think of itself as the beginning and end of the world. They also like to come up with plans that they think everyone else will try to follow (even if, as is very often the case, that plan isn’t so great after all).
They’d definitely be that person in the film that thinks that they can bully everyone into doing what they want, only to get eaten or stabbed to death by the monster or the killer.
Capricorn - Insists On Finding Out More Information Until It’s Too Late
Capricorn, like Virgo, is a relentlessly sensible earth sign, so it makes sense that, in a horror film, they’d be the one that always wants to find out more information.
They’d probably be a little more likely to believe in the existence of the monster, but they’d also put it off for so long that, right when they discover all of the information they need, it’s too late to save themselves (or anyone else).
Aquarius - Comes Up With An Overly Elaborate Plan That Fails
Aquarius is one of those signs that just seems to live on another planet, and it’s sometimes a bit of a struggle to get them to come down to earth and live with the rest of the human race.
They’re exactly the type of person that would come with an overly elaborate plan that, because it’s so ornate and confusing, would either backfire or fail, leading to their death.
Pisces - Insisting the Monster Is Just Misunderstood
It’s pretty common knowledge that the Pisces is the empath of the zodiac. They always try to understand what motivates people, so it’s pretty likely that they’d be that member of the group that’s always trying to get everyone else to see that the monster is just misunderstood (since many Pisces are also misunderstood).
This would result, almost inevitably, in them meeting a gruesome fate when the “misunderstood” creature devours them (probably right in front of everyone else).
