Welcome to Plathville's Moriah Plath recently celebrated her 20th birthday after a tough year that included a breakup. Now the aspiring singer is ready to see what the new year brings her. Moriah made sure to note she spent her birthday with her family after the siblings released a joint statement of solidarity.
Moriah's had quite the year with moving on from her ex-boyfriend, Max Kallschmidt, releasing a few tracks, and reuniting with her family. Moriah has always been the outspoken black sheep of the family, which is evident by her rebellious ways and more revealing outfits. While this trait used to cause her trouble, Moriah is now getting along better with her parents, Kim and Barry Plath, after moving to Tampa for some much-needed space. Through it all, Moriah kept a cheery demeanor as she continued to explore the world around her.
On August 28, Moriah celebrated her 20th birthday with her siblings and father, Barry, Her 16-year-old brother, Isaac, shared a few snaps of the big day on his Instagram. He wrote in the caption, "Celebrating Moriah’s 20th birthday!! Excited to see where this next year takes you Moriah!" The outing also included her three little sisters and Lydia Plath, who's had quite the style transformation. The Welcome to Plathville family stood outside in the parking lot of a restaurant as they posed for their photo. Moriah wore her signature style, a black jumpsuit with a bright red lip. While everyone else was smiling, Barry looked like he missed the memo and sported a confused face. The celebration did not show Kim, Ethan, Micah, or Olivia; presumably, they were not in attendance or invited.
Isaac posted a lovely tribute to his big sister, sharing that he wished her the best and looked forward to watching her grow even more in the coming year. Moriah herself didn't post about her birthday but seemed to be in good spirits. Before the friendly family outing recently, the Plath siblings, who have Instagram, shared a joint statement informing Welcome to Plathville viewers that they would no longer be divided and stood together. However, Ethan did not repost the statement and seems to be on the outs with his family still.
Welcome to Plathville season 4, which recently finished airing, showed the family at a crossroads. Kim and Barry announced in June they would be filing for a divorce after two decades of marriage. Kim revealed she outgrew her life with Barry and wanted to be more than a wife and mother. She is now teaching her own dance classes and has been linked to another man. Moriah seems to be supporting her mother despite celebrating her birthday without her.
