As one of the most-watched sporting events internationally, the Super Bowl can be watched through various channels; here is when and how you can watch Super Bowl LVI. This year, the National Football League (NFL) championship game is between the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Los Angeles Rams and the American Football Conference (AFC) champions Cincinnati Bengals. Set to occur at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, Super Bowl LVI marks history, with both the game and its halftime show. Although the Super Bowl has so little football, it still racks up millions of viewers across the globe. Fortunately, there are still different means of watching it live.

With the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Super Bowl LVI, the game becomes the second-consecutive and second overall time to include a team in its home stadium. This is also the Rams’ fifth appearance and their attempt to claim their second Super Bowl title after winning the Super Bowl XXXIV. On the other hand, the Bengals are yet to win a Super Bowl, since they last qualified in 1988. Moreover, the Super Bowl 2022 halftime show is to be headlined by Grammy Award-winning hitmakers Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, who contributed to MCU’s Black Panther soundtrack, and this collaboration is their first time to share a stage together.

The Super Bowl LVI will start at 3:30 pm PT, 6:30 pm ET, and 11:30 pm GMT on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Since the game will be televised on NBC, those with cable television or an over-the-air antenna can watch it live and hassle-free. It will also be available on the NBC Sports app, on NBCSports.com, and on the network’s streaming platform, Peacock, for at least $5 monthly. The Yahoo! Sports NFL apps will also stream the big game.

However, there are also online options that offer live-streaming services but do not require a cable subscription. Both FuboTV and Hulu with Live TV offer a seven-day trial, which can already be consumed for the Super Bowl. After the trial expires, however, FuboTV’s starter plan costs $64.99 monthly, while Hulu, home of the positively-reviewed Only Murders in the Building, charges $70 per month with additional content from Disney+ and ESPN+. Other options include Sling TV’s three-day trial and YouTube TV’s two-week free live TV streaming. Similarly, after these promos are consumed, the former costs at least $35 per month, while the latter charges at least $55 monthly. Unlike the abovementioned options, DirecTV — previously called AT&T TV — does not allow a free trial and only lets viewers enjoy the NBC Sports Network and 65 other channels for at least $70 per month.

For those outside the United States, there are still ways to watch the Super Bowl LVI live. For instance, UK viewers can tune in to the BBC Sport website and app, and Sky Sports. Canadian audiences can take their pick among Bell, TSN, CTV, DAZN, and RDS. In Australia, the big game is televised on ESPN and Seven Network. While fans from most countries can watch the Super Bowl LVI on ESPN, the NFL has released a comprehensive list of channels on their website.
