The Secret Ending to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous lets the player, and possibly their companions, ascend as demigods. This is the ending any player would choose, but unlike most secret endings, there isn't just one condition that must be met. Instead, there are several different conditions, and the player will need to make specific decisions throughout their entire playthrough in WotR.

First, Ascension is not available to the Legend and Swarm-That-Walks Mythic Paths in Pathfinder: WotR, so don't choose those. Next, the player will need to get their hands on Nahyndrian Crystals. At least one for the player character to Ascend, five for the whole party, and six to include a key NPC. Nahyndrian Crystals are a special drop from defeated Demon Lords who were hit with a Midnight Bolt in battle. To encounter six different Demon Lords, the player will need to either have the Treasure of Midnight Isles DLC to fight Nahyndri or to have chosen the Trickster or Demon Mythic Paths to fight Nocticula. As the player goes about collecting these, they will have to make specific decisions in the story.

What Choices Unlock The Secret Ending in Pathfinder: WotR

In Act 3, once the player has recruited the companions they want in Pathfinder: WotR, they'll need to head to Areelu's Lab and clear it out entirely. This will give them insight into Areelu and let them collect both a Midnight Bolt and the first page of the Lexicon of Paradox (more on that in a minute). They'll also encounter Suture, Areelu's dretch. Do not kill him, as he's integral to the final act.

The Lexicon of Paradox is an item required for the Secret Ending and is made by combining the first and second pages once found. However, like many things in WotR, several skill checks are required, and failing anyone locks out the Secret Ending.

While the player is strengthening the Crusade Army throughout their WotR playthrough, they'll need to complete the Sword of Valor project in Act 3 and the Unusual Crystals, Records of Pulura’s Stargazers, and Areelu Vorlesh’s Drafts projects in Act 5.

Finally, the player must choose to go to the Gallfrey Temple during the Iz Dungeon in Act 5. Doing this lets the player obtain the Glass Key and Crystal Key from the temple. After that, finish up Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous by going to the Threshold and unlocking the secret ending.
