Infinite Climax, or Non-stop Climax, is the hardest difficulty mode featured in Bayonetta 3. The most punishing game mode, Infinite Climax, features the toughest versions of enemies in Bayonetta 3, which have massive amounts of health and can easily kill players in just a few hits.

In addition to Bayonetta 3's Infinite Climax Mode giving enemies higher damage power and greater health, certain enemies are also resistant to being stunned or have shorter stun durations. While players' primary source of power comes from summoning Infernal Demons in Bayonetta 3, the game's maximum difficulty setting also makes powerful enemies appear in earlier levels than they usually would. This most challenging difficulty mode can be accessed after players finish the main story in Bayonetta 3.

Accessing Infinite Climax Difficulty Mode

Bayonetta-difficulty

Other than Infinite Climax, Bayonetta 3 has three standard difficulties: Casual, Standard, and Expert. Casual Difficulty is meant for new players who want to enjoy the story leisurely, Standard Difficulty is intended for basic skill-level players, and Expert Difficulty is for players who want more of a challenge. The main difference in each mode is that enemies become stronger and tougher enemies appear earlier in this new Bayonetta title. However, because the only requirement for unlocking Infinite Climax Difficulty Mode is to complete the story, players who finish a Casual run of the game can still access it.

Once players have completed the game in any difficulty mode, they can relaunch Bayonetta 3. Once inside the game, players can hit the "+" button to open the game's Menu. From here, players can click on the Difficulty Select setting, where they'll find the list of game difficulties, including Infinite Climax Difficulty. Players can select this option and then save their settings to enter Infinite Climax Difficulty Mode, where they'll face off against the toughest versions of enemies that Bayonetta 3 has revealed.

Players can unlock Bayonetta 3's infinite Climax Difficulty Mode after they complete the game story on any difficulty. Because there are a few difficulty options available before unlocking this mode, players are free to play the story however they feel comfortable. After changing the difficulty setting in the menu, players can replay the game in Infinite Climax Mode, which proves to be substantially more difficult as enemies in the game hit harder, have more health, and become resistant to stuns.

    Summary:
Bayonetta 3 marks the return of the Umbran witch eight years after the last release on the Nintendo Wii U, Bayonetta 2. Bayonetta embarks on a multiversal adventure when a mysterious being known as the Singularity enters the picture and slays the Bayonettas of several universes, absorbing their powers and destroying their realms. One Bayonetta, her friend Jeanne, and a new mysterious Umbran witch in training named Viola are all that stand in the way of complete multiversal destruction. Bayonetta 3 implements several new game mechanics, such as the Demon Slave system, where players can summon massive demons to fight alongside them and crush foes on the field. Additionally, players can expect massive kaiju-sized battles where they'll assume control of these demons and engage in city-sized battles.
