In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, players can obtain the unique S.A.Squatch Ghillie Suit skin for Operator Reyes through a special promotion. Call of Duty has partnered with Jack Link’s Meat Snacks brand to offer a variety of in-game benefits to players who purchase Jack Link’s products, including valuable double XP boosts and additional cosmetics following the Sasquatch theme. Modern Warfare 2’s Operators and Operator skins can be unlocked in several ways, including completing challenges in the game’s various modes, as well as through direct purchases in the in-game shop. However, as one of the biggest media franchises out there, Call of Duty is no stranger to having partnerships with a variety of different non-gaming brands, and it’s only through Jack Link’s that players can obtain the Ghillie Suit Operator.

Modern Warfare 2 players may already have seen the partnership between Call of Duty and fast-food chain Burger King, thanks to a promotion that allowed players to unlock Modern Warfare 2’s Burger Town Operator skin. In return for purchasing specific meals, players would receive codes that could be redeemed for content on the Call of Duty website. The promotion with Jack Link’s works similarly, although players need to buy four products from the company in this case. The S.A.Squatch Ghillie Suit skin is the final reward in a collection of digital items, and players will first need to redeem three other codes to unlock previous rewards.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Jack Link's Promo Sasquatch Ghillie Suit Operator Skin And Sasquatch Cosmetics

To get the Ghillie Suit Operator skin for Reyes, players must purchase four Jack Link’s products with stickers with redeemable codes on them. Unfortunately, MW2’s beef jerky promo codes have been stolen right off store shelves, as the codes are reportedly only loosely tied to packets. As such, players should be aware of the possibility that less-than-honest players hungry for the boosts afforded by double XP may have stolen seemingly valid codes.

Assuming players find their codes, they can redeem them on the Call of Duty website. Redeeming one code will earn players an animated Sasquatch emblem, while redeeming two and three codes will reward players with the animated Sasquatch calling card and Sasquatch weapons charm, respectively. Redeeming a fourth code will unlock the S.A.Squatch Ghillie Suit skin for Reyes. The codes for MW2’s Burger Town Operator were scalped, so it isn’t out of the question that something similar may happen here. According to Jack Link’s, players can grab eligible products at select retailers through January 2023, although it isn’t immediately clear whether this promotion is only limited to certain regions.

Modern Warfare 2 hasn’t had the smoothest of launches, with the game plagued by a variety of minor controversies and changes that have drawn the ire of some players. This includes anger over PlayStation-exclusive bonuses, the inability to turn off crossplay on Xbox and PC platforms, and the apparent lack of data on physical game discs. More recently, MW2 Vault Edition owners were given Double XP after yet another minor controversy. Regardless, food and snack promotions have been Call of Duty’s most visible means of promoting their games, so Modern Warfare 2 players may see more similar promotions in the future.
