One of the new hot weapons to be added in tandem with Call of Duty: Warzone 2's release is the BAS-P, a Submachine Gun built for shredding targets from close distance with the least possible recoil. Needless to say, this SMG will become the favorite for many combatants who prefer high-octane plays involving rushing rivals' positions or aggressively pushing behind enemy lines. The BAS-P's superior Mobility and Handling will enable users to vault through openings, dash around corners, and easily chase down enemies. In addition, hunter-oriented Perks such as Tracker or Ghost will undoubtedly be excellent choices to further enhance this SMG's performance.

While the BAS-P can be used in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, this Call of Duty SMG is exclusively unlocked through Warzone 2's novel Battle Pass system. For those unfamiliar, this Battle Pass functions as a tactical map, requiring players to "capture" Sectors using a currency called Battle Token Tier Skips. Similar to how Tiers worked in previous pass iterations, these Sectors contain a bundle of loot and feature an exclusive HVT or High-Value Target, serving as the main attraction of the bundle. Accordingly, BAS-P SMG is set as the HVT of Sector A6 in Warzone 2's Battle Pass.

Unlocking the BAS-P SMG in Warzone 2

According to the Battle Pass's introductory blog post on the official Call of Duty website, "Battle Token Tier Skips are earned simply by playing the game." In other words, players can unlock the BAS-P SMG by playing the various competitive modes of Warzone 2. Eventually, they will accumulate enough Tier Skips to get through the Sectors to reach Sector A6, the rewards pack that holds the BAS-P. Unfortunately, while the Battle Pass acts as a map displaying the "Area of Operations," it can only be progressed through in a linear manner, meaning that Sectors only become accessible once the previous one has been unlocked.

However, this does not mean Sector A6 will become available after players have gotten through Sectors A1 - A5. Dexerto states that players only must complete one of the adjacent areas surrounding Sector A6. By viewing the Battle Pass's map, fans can see these Sectors include A3, A5, and A10. Therefore, it is possible for players to complete Sectors A1 followed by A3, enabling them to reach the rewards in Warzone from Sector A6 with ease. After opening Sector A6, players must make sure they spend enough Battle Token Tier Skips to receive all four rewards of the bundle to unlock the BAS-P SMG in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
