Completing the Gasas Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom requires the player to find the correct time of action to move on to the next stage. With a bit of precision, the Light of Blessing is easy to obtain at the end with all hearts replenished. On top of receiving the life currency, it becomes a specific waypoint for Link to travel to the start of the Southwest region of the map. Additionally, after finishing this lengthy challenge, the player will think about how to use their abilities better and more creatively.

The Gasas Shrine can be found around the coordinates of -4150, 0099, 0040, in the middle of the Gerudo Highlands and the Tabitha Frontier. While wandering around the Tanagar Canyon, continue until the player finds a rocky road leading upward toward the shrine. The shrine is out in the open, so it should be easy to spot from afar. Link's new abilities in The Legend of Zelda: TOTK needed for this shrine are: Ultrahand, Recall, and Ascend, and do not forget arrows and a bow.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Gasas Shrine Walkthrough (Well Timed Cuts)

Part 1 of the Gasas Shrine in TOTK

With the preface of the Gasas Shrine, "Well-Timed Cuts," the player will need to practice their aim. In front of Link, a large moveable block will be on a rope. Simply aim an arrow at the rope, break it, and let the block fall. Once it has set, jump across the middle and make it to the other side. Alternatively, if Zelda: TOTK players don't want to waste an arrow, they can swing the block using Ultrahand and time Ascension under it. They can then ride the block and jump on the other side of the wall.

Part 2 of the Gasas Shrine in TOTK

After finishing the first section of Gasas Shrine, go up the stairs in front of the player. Activate the Ultrahand ability, and within the time limit of Recall, move the block at the edge of the stairs. By raising the block and setting it close to the next part of the ledge, players can reverse its action and ride it to the next stage. Alternatively, with the correct timing or simply because players can fall, Ascend can be used during Recall right underneath the block.

Part 3 of the Gasas Shrine in TOTK

The third section of the Gasas Shrine is as simple as Zelda TOTK's Shrines of The Great Sky Island as players make a common bridge to cross a ravine. Once across, use the same bridge underneath a treasure chest on a string to the right. Break the line with an arrow and open it immediately by running to it or Ultrahand it closer. After opening the chest, direct Link to the left, where there is a high-up hidden hanging cupboard. Attach a moveable block to the edge of the makeshift bridge found next to the locked door on the left. This will be a weight that will keep the bridge upright while Link aims another arrow at the string holding the hidden chest. Once open, a key unlocking the next stage will appear.

Final stage of the Gasas Shrine in TOTK

The last section of the Gasas Shrine requires the player to use momentum. Start by using the Ultrahand skill to swing the large ball on the string to the right. Once the ball is closer to Link, strike an arrow at the string and watch the ball fall into the pit. The area around the pit will turn green and open the gate. Proceed forward to get a Light of Blessing that can be used for more heart containers in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
