The new life simulation game Disney Dreamlight Valley released in early access this week, and players everywhere have jumped on the opportunity to welcome their favorite characters to the neighborhood. There are different steps required for every character in Disney Dreamlight Valley in order to convince them to move to the village. This can be everything from foraging to cooking food, some of which require ingredients that players must deduce on their own.

The main plot line of Disney Dreamlight Valley follows an event called The Forgetting, where the leader of Dreamlight Valley disappeared and residents began to forget who they were. This event sparked many characters to return to their own world, which players can access once they earn enough Dreamlight to remove the thorns from the main castle entrance. Inside, players will find doors - which require more Dreamlight to unlock - that lead to realms from Disney movies, like a beachy locale where players find Moana, and a kitchen where players can recruit Remy. This is one of the main gameplay elements of Disney Dreamlight Valley, and results in a growing Dreamlight Valley population over time.

Cooking in Disney Dreamlight Valley is incredibly straightforward - players simply must drop the required ingredients into a bubbling pot, and at the push of a button will have made a meal. Recipes vary greatly in complexity, with some only requiring one or two ingredients and others requiring the recipe max of five. Players can discover recipes on their own through trial and error, or learn them via finding recipes and other characters.

Wowing Remy With Ratatouille In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Making ratatouille in Disney Dreamlight Valley is part of the series of dishes players must cook in Remy the rat's world in order to convince him to move in, as part of a quest entitled "An Important Night at the Restaurant." However, a frazzled Remy doesn't provide very clear instructions to the player, only offering that tomato is involved. The player will need to make sure their inventory in Disney Dreamlight Valley can fit the five ingredients required for the dish, which can be found on different shelves within the kitchen.

Of the five ingredients required to make ratatouille in Disney Dreamlight Valley, only one of them can vary, unlike some other dishes. Players will need to combine tomato, eggplant, zucchini, and onion as well as any kind of spice - this means that whether a player chooses to use Thyme or Basil the recipe will come out the same regardless. Once these ingredients are combined in the pot and the dish is presented to Remy, players will have successfully completed the quest, as well as gained a new recipe that can be cooked at home. As is true for unlocking other characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will still need to build a home for Remy before he will move in, but the completion of this recipe marks the end of Remy's initial quest.

Once Remy has a home in Dreamlight Valley, players can help him set up his restaurant Chez Remy, where they can continue to cook beside the rat and feed the residents of the village. However, it may take a while for players to be able to make ratatouille on their own again after the quest is over due to the ingredients it requires. To acquire seeds for all the different vegetables needed, players will need to spend a large amount of Dreamlight as well as Star Coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley to unlock different biomes, where they will find - and need to pay to upgrade - Goofy's various stalls where he sells the necessary seeds. However, once players know the recipe and have the right seeds, making ratatouille in Disney Dreamlight Valley is easy.
