With Goat Simulator 3's recent launch on Epic Games, many Fortnite fans are likely seeing players with the new "A Goat" Outfit bleating about to compete for a Victory Royale. Inspired by the main protagonist of Goat Simulator, Pilgor, the A Goat skin fits perfectly in the comical and wacky world of Fortnite, where Batman can be seen using a Kamehameha blast on Indiana Jones. A Goat was previously used as a promotional reward for those who preordered Goat Simulator 3 before its launch on November 17, 2022. However, now that the game has officially been released on the Epic Games Store, Fortnite players who did not participate in the preorder event might wonder if they too can become "The GOATest of All Time."
Fortunately, Fortnite players will have the opportunity to become 'A Goat' in Fortnite from Goat Simulator 3 later this month on November 26, 2022. On this date, the A Goat Outfit will become available in the Item Shop as a purchasable cosmetics with V-Bucks, the premium currency of Fortnite. On the other hand, those who preordered Goat Simulator 3 will be able to keep their free Goat skin forever with no worries about future costs.
Unlocking A Goat Outfit in Fortnite
According to sources at Dot Esports, the A Goat Skin will be priced at 1,200 V-Bucks after it arrives in Fortnite's Item Shop on the 26th, which amounts to roughly 10 USD. For reference, Goat Simulator 3 was around 30 USD for the standard edition during its preorder phase, but the price might differ depending on one's region for Fortnite. Therefore, Fortnite fans can get the upcoming A Goat skin for a third of the game's price, which is still quite worthwhile considering the Outfit is "The GOATest of All Time."
Currently, A Goat only has one playable Outfit in Fortnite, featuring an anthropomorphic figure of Pilgor wearing a half-cut tank top and rolled-up skinny jeans. A Goat is exceptionally well-built for a humanoid goat, as the cosmetic appearance has toned arms but slightly disturbing human hands. As of November 2022, there is official information as to whether Fortnite fans will receive a new iteration of this Outfit in the future. Those following the development of Goat Simulator 3 and playing the game's prequels will know that Pilgor has been on many adventures, such as surviving zombie apocalypses in Fortnite, journeying through space, and even venturing into MMO worlds.
