Guardians in Season 18 of Destiny 2 can earn some exclusive ornaments inspired by Fortnite without spending a dime. In the Destiny 2 Showcase 2022, Bungie revealed a collaboration with Epic Games. As a result, Guardians can now enjoy their favorite looter shooter on the Epic Games Store, then switch to playing Fortnite, all in one location. To commemorate the occasion, Destiny 2 is featuring three incredibly stylish armor ornaments from the hit Battle Royale in the Eververse Store.

Bungie's collaboration with Epic Games extends beyond Destiny 2. Like the Sonic cosmetics in Fall Guys, fans can look forward to earning some fun armor for their character in-game. Additionally, players will be able to compete for the number one spot as a Hunter, Warlock, or Titan. The event is supposed to start on September 17, 2022, but not much else is known. In the meantime, fans can experience Destiny 2's crucible mode inside Fortnite. In this creator map, players can choose from one of three loadouts that were inspired by the Hunter, Warlock, and Titan classes.

Guardians that download Destiny 2 on the Epic Games Store will get the 30th Anniversary Pack for free. This includes access to many cosmetics and entry into the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. Additionally, Guardians will be able to complete an Exotic quest to earn the Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher in Destiny 2. Regardless of the chosen platform, all players can acquire the Fortnite collaboration armor ornaments. Titans get the Knightly Noire set, an intimidating black and red suit of armor. Warlocks get the Painted Kitsune set, with the Painted Kitsune mask being the standout piece. Hunters get the cybernetic Eternal Vengeance set, which includes a stylish horned cloak. Each outfit is an excellent blend of Fortnite and Destiny 2.

Currently, all three cosmetic armor sets are available right now in the Eververse Store. Each cosmetic can be purchased for 1,500 Silver, which will cost about $19.99 (US), as there is no package for the exact amount of currency. This can be quite expensive for those that want all the ornaments. Luckily, Guardians will have the chance to spend Bright Dust in Destiny 2 for the armor. According to Today in Destiny, one piece will be featured during Weeks 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 of Season of Plunder. They will cost 1,600 Bright Dust for a total of 8,000 for a complete ornament set.

Bright Dust serves as a way for Guardians to earn premium cosmetics in-game. This limited currency mostly comes from completing bounties, seasonal challenges, and ranking in the season reward track. Additionally, players have a random chance of obtaining Bright Dust when opening Eververse Engrams. These exclusive ornaments may disappear at the end of Season of Plunder. Guardians should work hard to gather enough Bright Dust and earn the Fortnite armor for free.
