One of the obtainable armor sets in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one that players may recognize from Zelda: Majora's Mask, the Fierce Deity set. The Fierce Deity armor set can be acquired through the Amiibo feature but is also available in-game, scattered over Hyrule.

The Fierce Deity set is separated into three pieces, so each will be found in its own separate chest. Though players don't have to initiate the associated quest to find the armor, it will help provide clues to each piece's location. Additionally, Link will need to return to where the quest is initiated anyway to receive a reward for collecting all three pieces.

How To Complete Misko's Treasure: The Fierce Deity Quest

Link must head to the Eldin Region to start the Misko's Treasure quest in Zelda: TOTK. To the West of Cephla Lake, there will be two treasure hunters with a camp near a cave entrance. After interacting with them, they will mention that the cave is full of chests that only offer one Rupee each and that only with a dog's nose would Link stand a shot at finding the treasure. This is a clue for Link to feed the nearby dog so that it will lead him to the correct chest, but Link can also go and look for it on his own. Upon reaching the end of the cave, there will indeed be a room full of chests.

The chest that will trigger the start of the quest is off to the left and slightly buried in the ground to the left of Brightbloom Seeds. Since it is buried in the sand, Link will need to use his Ultrahand ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to pull it out of the ground. After opening, Link will discover a message in a bottle that will give clues to the three pieces, which are keys, that, if brought back and worn, will allow Link to retrieve the Fierce Deity Sword as a reward. The three pieces can be retrieved in any order, and all three will be found in a cave.

Where To Find The Fierce Deity Armor

The first piece of the armor set is the actual armor itself. It lies below the Akkala Citadel Ruins in a cave on Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's map. To get into the cave, head to the ruins in the Eldin Region and investigate the structure. At coordinates 3282, 1498, and 0414, Link should find a hole in the bottom right of a wall. Crouch through there to enter a room with a hole in the floor. This is the entrance to the Akkala Citadel Ruins Summit Cave, which Link will need to descend into. The chest is directly next to Link when he descends into this cave.

Where To Find The Fierce Deity Boots

Unlike the other two pieces, the Fierce Deity Boots will not be found in Zelda: TOTK's Eldin Region. Instead, Link needs to head out to Hyrule Field for this armor piece. In Hyrule Field, there is a large ancient tree stump that can only be reached via a long wooden bridge. When Link approaches it, Keese will likely fly out of it once they're out, jump in, and descend into the Ancient Tree Stump Cave. Once inside, keep going through until reaching a hole in the wall blocked by vines. Cut through and work until reaching the room with the chest containing the Fierce Deity Boots.

Where To Find The Fierce Deity Mask

To find the final piece of the armor, the Fierce Deity Mask, Link will need to head back to the Eldin Region and descend into a cave beneath Skull Lake. Unfortunately, to enter the cave, Link will need to drop into the tall tunnel that is supposed to be the right "eye" of Skull Lake. The easiest way to do this is by paragliding down after riding a falling rock up to the sky. Once getting into the cave, Link must battle a tough boss in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Stalnox, and then retrieve the Mask from a chest up on a ledge behind where the enemy was standing. Now Link can return to the starting point of the quest.

How To Get The Fierce Deity Sword

Now that the items have been retrieved equip Link with all three pieces and re-enter the original cave where the letter was found. Upon entering the room with the chests, the large stone door that was previously sealed shut will open. Inside the room, there will be a final chest containing the Fierce Deity Sword with a base power of 38. Combine this with some of the stronger materials found around Hyrule, such as Diamonds, to boost this further and have a powerful armor and weapon combination that can be useful in defeating tough foes in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
