A dangerous and cursed weapon, the Night Sword is a powerful blade introduced in the Legacy of the Moonspell DLC of Vampire Survivors. Those wielding this sword will viciously lacerate nearby enemies with a series of slashes and can retaliate by attacking six times in an AoE around the user. Moreover, there is a slight chance the Night Sword draws consumable blood from its foes that can heal its wielder. This possibility is based on the player character's Luck, as those with higher Luck will be able to produce more healing heart drops from enemy kills.

To get the Night Sword in Vampire Survivors, players must make their way to the northern peaks of Mt. Moonspell, far above the dojo where Miang Moonspell's Coffin is found. Along the way, adventurers will encounter various enemies, including trolls living within the mountain's grottos. A shrine sits near the top of Mt. Moonspell, guarded by a massive skeleton stuck in the earth. To reach this shrine, players must follow the dirt trail marked with torii gates and avoid entering the troll caves along the main path.

How To Unlock The Night Sword Location in Vampire Survivors

Stone Mask in Vampire Survivors

According to YouTuber Hold To Reset, players do not need to slay the skeleton guarding the Night Sword in Vampire Survivors. All they must do is pick it up and walk away to unlock it permanently for future runs. Making one's way back down the mountain should be slightly easier once adventurers have acquired this deadly blade. Alternatively, players can get the Night Sword indirectly by unlocking Megalo Syuuto Moonspell, Syuuto's more powerful form. Megalo Syuuto naturally has superior inherent stats to Syuuto and wields the Night Sword as his starting weapon in Vampire Survivors. For reference, players can unlock Syuuto by evolving Four Seasons, and Megalo Syuuto becomes available once players have slayed 100,000 enemies in a single run with Syuuto.

Night Sword's evolution in Vampire Survivors is Muramasa, which has much stronger base damage and a higher chance of draining hearts from slain enemies. Moreover, this demonic blade can inflict critical hits with deadly combo finishers. However, Muramasa's supernatural power comes at the cost of a permanent HP drain from its user, which can be countered if players have high Luck for self-healing. To evolve the Night Sword into Muramasa in Vampire Survivors, players must acquire and max-level the Stone Mask. An accessible Stone Mask can be across the forests east of the Night Sword's shrine on Mt. Moonspell. For convenience, using the Mad Groove Arcana can bring the mask directly to the player character's position.
