Once you have managed to get a small greenhouse of their own going in Hogwarts Legacy’s Room of Requirement, you might find that they need larger pots to grow some of their magical plants. You will be introduced to the Room of Requirement relatively early in Hogwarts Legacy and receive special spellcraft schematics that will allow you to conjure up basic potting tables and potion stations. While these are perfectly fine for growing basic plants such as Dittany, certain other plant ingredients used in more advanced potions require a bit of extra space.

Plants that require large pots include Fluxweed Stem, an essential ingredient for the Focus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy, and the vicious Venomous Tentacula combat plant. Depending on whether you like to use potions and combat plants when battling foes, large pots might be a necessary expense. Luckily, getting a large pot is simple. All you have to do is head down to Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade and purchase the right spellcraft.

At Tomes and Scrolls, you can purchase spellcraft schematics for a potting table with a large pot or a potting table with two large pots. Spellcrafts are essentially special schematics for Hogwarts Legacy's Room of Requirement that allow you to use Conjuration to create new stations and decorations.

The schematic for the potting table with a large pot will cost 1,000 Galleons, while the version with two pots costs a hefty 3,000 Galleons.

Two pots will give you extra growing space but cost quite a bit more, so you should spend Galleons wisely.

Once you have purchased either or both schematics, all you need to do is return to the Room of Requirement. Here, you can use the Conjuration spell taught by Professor Weasley to create new potting tables.

Both Pot schematics require Moonstone, with the one-pot table costing 10 Moonstone and the two-pot table costing 30 Moonstone. Luckily, you can use Evanesco, a Vanishing Spell that disappears existing furniture items to get additional Moonstone.

Alternatively, you can also find Moonstone nodes outside Hogwarts if you want to avoid Vanishing your favorite decorations. Additionally, you can use this video by GosuNoob as a reference if you want to know how to efficiently place Large pots in the Room of Requirement. Large pots will let you grow some useful potion ingredients and combat plants, which can prove useful in the right situations. The only downside is that they are expensive to purchase and conjure, but you can always cover the cost by opening Hogwarts Legacy's Eyeball Chests or selling unused gear.
