BrayTech Werewolf is a Legendary Auto Rifle that can be earned during Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost. While this weapon was available in previous iterations of the event, a few new Perks and an Origin Trait have been added to the gun. BrayTech Werewolf is a reliable Auto Rifle that is good for any type of content.
BrayTech Werewolf comes with a Precision Frame, meaning that the weapon's recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. This allows Guardians to easily control their shots and aim directly at a target's weak point. Sniper Rifles in Destiny 2 are suitable for this specific reason. Landing precision hits should always be a priority because they deal significantly more damage. Guardians can further improve this Auto Rifle's capabilities with some great Perks.
Players can only acquire the BrayTech Werewolf during the Festival of the Lost. The weapon drops from the final loot chest of a Haunted Sector. The playlist can either be started from The Tower, next to Eva Levante or from the Destination map. Guardians will first need to grab the Gone but Not Forgotten quest from Eva and equip a Festival Mask. Defeating the final boss will spawn the loot chest. For a better chance of finding the BrayTech Werewolf, converting Spectral Pages to Manifested Pages will increase the rewards gained. Spectral Pages can be earned from any other activity in Destiny 2.
How To Get The BrayTech Werewolf God Roll in Destiny 2
BrayTech Werewolf is a Kinetic Auto Rifle and, thus, does not synergize with a specific subclass. However, this makes the weapon a reliable option for every type of player. There is no specific God Roll for the BrayTech Werewolf, but there are some specific Perks that can boost the viability of the gun. While some Guardians may choose different options, a recommended God Roll can be found below:
Barrel |
Magazine |
Trait 1 |
Trait 2 |
---|---|---|---|
Arrowhead Break |
Ricochet Rounds |
Well-Rounded |
Swashbuckler |
Arrowhead Break is the ideal Barrel for the BrayTech Werewolf, as this will increase the gun's handling and raise the recoil direction to 100. Ricochet Rounds will capitalize on the Auto Rifle's high range, slightly increasing the stat further while also adding more stability. Well-Rounded is a great option, as this Perk in Destiny 2 grants a bonus to the weapon's range, stability, and handling if a grenade is thrown or a target is hit with a charged melee. This ties into the last Perk, Swashbuckler, which adds a stacking damage buff upon melee or weapon kills.
Currently, generating ability energy is easy to do, with most end-game builds regenerating a skill almost instantly. One charged melee kill will grant a buff to damage, range, stability, and handling on this God Roll. Further weapon kills will extend the effects of Swashbuckler. Guardians have until the Festival of the lost ends on November 8, 2022, to get their desired BrayTech Werewolf God Roll in Destiny 2.
