While cleaning the streets and homes of Muckingham, PowerWash Simulator players can spend their hard-earned money on new clothing to make themselves stand out from the crowd. A small selection of new outfits and gloves is available in-game for players who have money left over from buying new equipment and upgrades and would like something new to wear. In addition, while most of the game takes place in the first-person perspective, a brand-new set of cosmetics can make the player stand out, particularly when playing PowerWash Simulator online with friends.

Set mostly in the town of Muckingham, PowerWash Simulator has players step into the rubber boots of a handyman setting up a brand-new power washing business. Muckingham’s homes and public spaces are covered in dirt and grime, and the player must deal with all of it, taking on power washing jobs and scrubbing the town clean. As they complete jobs, the player earns money for purchasing new equipment, upgrades, and soap to make their work much more manageable. Aside from the game’s Career Mode, players can also try out the game’s Challenge Mode, which challenges players to save as much water as possible or play special jobs, including one which transports players to the surface of Mars to scrub the dirt off the Mars Rover.

Other games have been included in July’s Xbox Game Pass library update, but PowerWash Simulator is perhaps the most relaxing, stress-free game of the bunch. Of course, saving money from jobs is important as it allows players to buy equipment and upgrades to expand their power washing capabilities. Still, players who are reasonably careful with their spending can opt to add a few things to their wardrobe and change their clothes.

How To Change Clothes In PowerWash Simulator

Clothing in PowerWash Simulator is entirely cosmetic and has no in-game effects, so players shouldn’t expect a boost to their cleaning abilities from switching to a new outfit. There are a total of 9 different outfits and 14 different sets of gloves that players can buy and equip. In addition, modifications, or skins for power washers, can also be purchased. Sadly, there isn’t much to buy, and unfortunately, there aren’t any sunglasses capable of stopping PowerWash Simulator’s sun crash bug, but the new outfits and gloves do look nice. These cosmetics can be bought in the Clothing section of the in-game Shop, which also sells various items such as new power washers, nozzle upgrades, and more.

Once bought, players can change their clothes by opening up their inventory; on Xbox consoles, this is mapped to the View button (the one with two boxes) by default, while PC players should press E. Players can then navigate to the clothing tab and select new outfits and gloves from this menu. It’s worth noting that the player won’t usually be able to see their new outfit; like many other video games about cleaning up, PowerWash Simulator is only playable in first person. However, players who take on cleaning jobs online with friends will have the benefit of being able to tell their friends apart with a single glance.
