If adventurers are looking to progress in the Adventurer of Thaldraszus Dragonflight Achievement in World of Warcraft, they can hunt down a Rare Humanoid Enemy known as Blightpaw the Depraved. This hostile NPC has over 500,000 HP and will spawn at Levels 69 to 71. To find this enemy, players will need to travel to the coordinates X: 90 and Y: 41 at Rusza'thar Reach, a location near the northeastern edge of Ohn'ahran Plains that is slightly southwest of Valdrakken. After arrival, adventurers must keep an eye out for a bipedal beast-like NPC firing blight from its hands at a nearby pile of bones.
Blightpaw the Depraved cannot be attacked from the get-go, as players must first initiate the Rare Enemy battle by speaking with an NPC character in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight named Archaeologist Koranir. This Archaeologist will be standing near the giant buried ribcage behind Blightpaw at the same location.
If players speak with Koranir, he will make the statement, "I can't wait to tell all my friends about how the great Koranir helped the Champion of Azeroth," and rush to fight Blightpaw the Depraved.
How To Defeat Blightpaw The Depraved in WoW: Dragonflight
Unfortunately, several players have reported that Archaeologist Koranir can sometimes be bugged and might not respond to the players' inputs. In other words, the main problem adventurers have with Blightpaw is not the fight itself but activating the battle with the Archaeologist's dialogue. Sources at Destructoid claim that a possible way to fix this issue is by leaving the area and returning or logging in and out of the game. The Bronze Timelock is useful for ensuring players can quickly make their way back to Blightpaw the Depraved in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight to see if the bug with Koranir has gone away.
Once Archaeologist Koranir finally gets Blightpaw the Depraved's attention, the Rare Enemy will stop discharging blight and focus aggro on players in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. The fight is relatively easy if players are at Level 70 or higher and equipped with adequate gear. Blightpaw will summon an Ancient Tundrafur to join the fray. Therefore, it might be ideal for players to defeat this minor mob first. Moreover, combatants should avoid repositioning too much to prevent taking aggro from the nearby Divebeak Ohunas.
Using a WoW class with minions to tank damage while fighting Blightpaw the Depraved will make the battle more manageable, based on gameplay by YouTuber ZaFrostPet. Additionally, once Blightpaw has been defeated, World of Warcraft players will gain a solid amount of valuables, such as Gnoll-Gnawed Breeches, the Gold-Alloy Blade, or the Drakewatcher's Hood.
