Similar to The Lab in Escape from Tarkov, Building 21 is a brand-new location in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ extraction mode that players can enter to complete objectives, find valuable loot, and engage in epic gunfights with other combatants. As of December 16, 2022, this new area is not yet available in-game, but the game's developers have already implemented a means to access Building 21 by using a rare item obtained from the city of Al Mazrah. This item is known as the DRC Building 21 Access Card, also referred to by players as the Building 21 key card.

Accordingly, to access Building 21 in Warzone 2, players will need to know how to get the DRC Building 21 Access Card while exploring the Al Mazrah map. One known source of acquiring this rare key card is Supply Drops. Supply Drops will occasionally drop from the sky while combatants are surviving within the DMZ map. Players can also trigger these loot caches to fall by taking over a SAM site and using the anti-aircraft artillery to shoot down passing airplanes or the Commander's Helicopter. Keep in mind that SAM sites are typically heavily guarded by NPC soldiers.

Finding DRC Building 21 Access Cards in Warzone 2

Finding the Building 21 Key Card in a Supply Drop and Dead Player in Warzone 2

After clearing a SAM site and activating the launcher to take down AI-controlled aircraft, players must rush to the location where the debris fell. Keep in mind that just because a group of players activated a SAM site does not mean other combatants can "steal" the loot from the Supply Drop that fell to the ground. Once users make their way to the Supply Drop in Warzone 2, there is a solid chance that a Building 21 key card will be inside the loot cache. Since the loot is based on RNG, players might need to shoot down several planes and Commander Helicopters before they are able to get the rare Access Card.

Additionally, YouTuber LaserBolt suggests that players not only focus on using SAM sites to get DRC Building 21 Access Cards in Warzone 2 but should also attempt to kill other extracting combatants holding the card. In other words, if users ever see a human soldier rushing unusually quickly to an extraction point, there is a chance they are holding valuable loot, like a key card. After extracting with the Access Card key in Warzone 2, players will be able to enter Building 21. Sources at ONE Esports claim that players will then likely receive the choice of dropping into Al Mazrah or Building 21, similar to accessing Tarkov's Lab.
