Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard made their reality TV debut on the first season of Bravo's Summer House in 2017, and their relationship has changed a lot since. During Summer House season 1, these two were strictly friends, as Lindsay was in a relationship with then-co-star Everett Weston, and Carl, a self-proclaimed playboy, was pursuing then-co-star Lauren Wirkus. Seven seasons later, the Summer House trailer confirms that Carl proposed to Lindsay in August 2022 after less than a year of dating.
Summer House's Carl and Lindsay were platonic friends for the first three seasons of the Bravo series. Lindsay continued her tumultuous relationship with Everett and dated several other men. Meanwhile, Carl dated different co-stars, from Lauren Wirkus to Paige DeSorbo, but no relationship seemed to stick for the bachelor. By Summer House season 3, Carl and Lindsay deemed each other mutual best friends, and their chemistry was apparent, but nothing romantic seemed to be in the cards at the time.
Carl & Lindsay's Failed Dating Attempt
In the Summer House season 4 premiere, Carl reveals that he and Lindsay hooked up in New York before the summer began. Carl admits that he has feelings for Lindsay, and the two best friends decide to give dating a try. Unfortunately, the situation turns sour quickly. After Carl, who left Loverboy, drunkenly brings another woman into the house, Lindsay breaks things off with some disparaging words to Carl. Although no longer a couple, the two remained close friends for several years. Lindsay was even the first person Carl went to after his brother passed away, and Carl was the first person Lindsay opened up to about her miscarriage.
Carl & Lindsay Are Now Engaged To Be Married
After five seasons of tumultuous relationships with both each other and numerous others, Lindsay and Carl finally decide to give their romantic relationship another shot at Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula's wedding in 2021. Since then, the two have been seen together constantly on Lindsay's social media and even moved in together at the beginning of the summer of 2022. While it is unclear how Summer House season 7 will go, it definitely goes well for Carl and Lindsay. Although the proposal has not aired on Bravo yet, Lindsay announced her and Carl's engagement on her Instagram in August 2022. The couple's turn-around was quick, but Carl and Linsday's relationship was a long time coming.
Summer House season 7 has just begun, and according to the trailer, there's plenty of drama on the horizon. Some alliances seem to be shifting, which should really shake up the group. But if there's one thing Summer House fans can count on, it's Lindsay and Carl sticking together through the mayhem.
