Johnny Knoxville and crew are back for more stunts and pranks in Jackass Forever, the fourth movie in the Jackass film series, and here’s how old the main cast members are in this new movie. MTV has seen a variety of TV shows come and go, and in the 1990s it became home to many that ended up becoming classics, among those Jackass. Created by Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze, and Jeff Tremaine, Jackass is a reality stunt comedy TV series that debuted on MTV in 2000 and aired for three seasons, coming to an end in 2002, and while its time was short, the show was a huge success.

Jackass has a simple premise that proved to be quite effective and has kept generations of viewers entertained: Knoxville and company (Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, and more, including guest stars) carry out a variety of stunts and pranks on each other or the public, and they know no limits nor do they care about the pain and potentially life-threatening injuries that will come with all these. After the show came to an end, a movie, simply titled Jackass: The Movie, was released with the purpose of closing the series, but its success made way for a franchise with multiple spinoffs, a video game, and five movies, the latest one being Jackass Forever.

The Jackass crew has been around for two decades risking their lives for the sake of entertainment, and even after going through a variety of injuries, they continue to be up for any type of stunt and prank, and not much has changed when it comes to their sense of humor – but how old are the Jackass crew members in Jackass Forever?

Johnny Knoxville

As mentioned above, Johnny Knoxville is one of the creators of Jackass, whose original idea was to produce an article about testing various self-defense equipment on himself, and after being rejected by various magazines, he was contacted by Tremaine, editor of Big Brother magazine at the time. Knoxville’s idea eventually evolved into what Jackass is now, and since then he has served as the leader of the crew and the “host” with his famous opening line “Hi, I’m Johnny Knoxville, welcome to Jackass”. Knoxville has been in every movie in the Jackass series so far, and he was 29 years old when the series premiered. Knoxville was born in 1971, and Jackass Forever was filmed in 2019, meaning he was 48 at the time. Jackass Forever went through various delays due to the coronavirus pandemic, and so Knoxville is now 50 years old.

Steve-O

Steve-O joined the Jackass crew when, while working at a flea market circus, he started sending videos of himself to Tremaine, as he was an editor for Big Brother back then. Like Knoxville, Steve-O has been part of every Jackass movie and has become one of the crew’s most notable members thanks to his recklessness and sense of humor. Steve-O was born in 1974 and was 26 years old when the Jackass TV show began, and by the time of filming Jackass Forever, he was 45. Steve-O is now 47 years old.

Chris Pontius

Chris Pontius joined Jackass when he was interviewed for Big Brother magazine and later wrote for the magazine, thus working alongside Tremaine. Pontius has become known for performing stunts involving nudity and for playing characters in different pranks, most notably when he dresses up as the devil and walks down the streets with a sign that reads “Keep God Out of California”. Pontius was born in 1974, so just like Steve-O (with whom he co-hosted the spinoff series Wildboyz), he was 26 years old when Jackass premiered on MTV, 45 when Jackass Forever was filming, and 47 now that the movie is finally out.

Jason Acuña, best known as Wee Man, was the subscription manager of Big Brother magazine before he joined Tremaine’s Jackass project. Wee Man is best known for pranks and stunts involving him skating as an Oompa-Loompa, kicking himself in the head, and a recurring gag with Preston Lacy where the latter always ends up chasing him. Wee Man was born in 1973 and was 27 years old when the show started. By the time Jackass Forever was filming, Wee Man was 46, and he’s now 48 years old.

Dave England

Dave England was the field editor for Snowboarder Magazine and editor of Blunt magazine, the sister snowboarding magazine to Big Brother, which is how he met Tremaine and the rest. His role in Jackass has been that of the crew member who is always up for stunts and pranks involving fecal matter, and one of his most famous stunts is “Poo Diaper”, in which he went into a garbage can to eat out of a baby’s diaper, which had chocolate pudding. England was born in 1969 and was 31 years old when the Jackass TV show began, 50 years old when Jackass Forever was filming, and 52 years old now that the movie finally made it to theaters.

Ehren McGhehey

Ehren McGhehey, also known as Danger Ehren, is a former professional snowboarder. Ehren retired from snowboarding after breaking his neck and started working at a skate shop, where he filmed some of his ideas and stunts. He eventually caught Tremaine’s attention and was invited to the Jackass team, and he has appeared in all movies ever since. Ehren is best known for his motto “safety first” and his tendency to injure himself and lose teeth. Ehren was born in 1976, and by the time Jackass premiered, he was 24 years old. Ehren was 43 years old when Jackass Forever was filming and he’s now 45.

Preston Lacy

Preston Lacy met Johnny Knoxville during a commercial audition, and though he was originally brought on as a writer, Knoxville eventually convinced him to take part in the stunts. As mentioned above, he teams up with Wee Man for a recurring gag where he chases him down the streets wearing briefs and white T-shirts. Lacy was born in 1969 and was 31 years old when Jackass started. By the time Jackass Forever was filming, Lacy was 50 years old and he’s now 52.

Bam Margera

Bam Margera caught Tremaine’s attention thanks to the CKY video series, in which he and his friends did skateboarding and stunts. Margera became part of the Jackass crew and appeared in all movies, and was later given his own TV series, Viva La Bam. Margera was part of the Jackass Forever team but was fired during production, and the situation got more and more complicated as time passed, with Tremaine filing a temporary restraining order against Margera after he harassed him and Knoxville on Instagram and Margera filed a lawsuit against them and Jonze – still, the scenes he filmed for Jackass Forever are included in the movie. Margera was born in 1979 and was 21 years old when Jackass premiered, 40 when Jackass Forever was filming, and he’s now 42 years old.
