Bachelor In Paradise is another spin-off from The Bachelor franchise, and fans are curious about how much the cast gets paid. Bachelor In Paradise casting is reserved for alums of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette who have yet to find love. With several eligible bachelors and bachelorettes looking for love and overall having a good time, getting paid seems to be the icing on the cake.

Bachelor in Paradise, which recently premiered season 8, first aired in August 2014. Over the years, Bachelor Nation has seen some of its favorite cast members return to the beach in Mexico and try to make a connection. At the end of the first week, the men or women hand out roses and those who don't receive a rose get eliminated. The following week introduces additional alums, and more roses are handed out. Just before the finale, the couples get a night without cameras, and by the finale, the remaining couples either do or don't get engaged.

Fans are curious how much the BIP stars get paid for their time. According to Stylecaster, some alums of the show have shared what that amount is. There are three different ways they can get paid: per day, episode, or given a flat rate. Depending on the influence a cast member could have on BIP, which Well Adams helped host before, the salary is adjusted. The typical paycheck a contestant receives is usually around $400 per day. Dean Unglert from The Bachelorette season 13 said he was offered $400 per day to be on Bachelor In Paradise season 6, but he asked for $800. They eventually settled on $600 a day. If Dean had stayed the whole time, he would have received $12,600 for the summer.

Meanwhile, Jason Tartick also negotiated for $600 per day, which included a $5,000 flat rate if he did not last past the first week. Although, he did not end up joining the series. While the Bachelor In Paradise paycheck isn't huge, it is a big step up from being a contestant on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. In fact, the contestants get paid nothing while vying for the heart of the lead. Some contestants lose money because they spend so much on styling themselves and sometimes have to quit their jobs. The Bachelor and The Bachelorettes lead, on the other hand, make about $100,000 for a season.

BIP usually films for a few weeks, and cast members are expected to make anywhere from $2,800 to $12,600. However, this all depends on how negotiations go. Despite the low wages, it's a good incentive to go to Mexico and find love on BIP.
