Now that Amy Slaton Halterman has two little boys, 1,000-lb Sisters followers are curious if Amy will gradually change over time. Raising children has always been the Kentucky native's dream, but her weight got in the way for years. Now with two kids under the age of two, fans wonder what Amy's new normal may look like.

Amy gave birth to her first son, Gage Deon Halterman, in November 2020. Even though doctors had advised her to wait a few years after undergoing her gastric bypass, Amy and her husband, Michael Halterman, didn't want to put their family planning on hold any longer. Depending on which kind of 1,000 lbs Sisters fan you are, Amy, who some fans cannot stand, selflessly or selfishly put her health journey on hold to make her dreams of becoming a mother come true. Shortly after the New Year rang in, Amy once again announced that she was expecting another baby boy. Her second son, Glenn Allen Halterman, was born on July 5, 2022.

Now that Amy has her hands full with a newborn and a toddler, fans think she will start to change in order to accommodate her new life. Before having children, the 1,000 lbs Sisters star was a bit more impulsive, especially regarding what she put in her mouth. Fans could see that Amy and her sister Tammy Slaton depended on one another for survival, and both turned to food for comfort. While Amy was never as confrontational as her sister, the mother of two had her moments.

Since having her babies, Amy has become a beacon of positivity. The 1000-lb Sisters star has made sure to keep her weight under control and make healthy decisions for her two sons. Once unable to move or do chores, Amy is now ensuring she keeps the house clean, so her children can play freely. Amy is also aware of having to spend time away from Gage and Glenn if she were to commit to another season of the TLC show. She is now weighing her options and putting her son's well-being first.

Another season of 1,000-lb Sisters has yet to be confirmed by TLC, but Tammy did share that cameras have started rolling. Amy revealed she is nervous she would be considered a bad mother if she took part in another season and seems to be on the fence about her place in the series. One thing is for sure, Amy has clearly changed for the better, which is benefiting her entire family.
