Wendy Osefo of The Real Housewives of Potomac revealed she was very close to quitting the show, especially after the fight. The mother of three did not want to waste her time on a show that allowed such behavior.

Wendy is giving everyone a run for their money. The newest housewife has been making her opinions known to the women and viewers for the entire season. She already had a go at Ashley Darby and is watching her back with Karen Huger. Wendy was the first Nigerian housewife and was proud to bring her culture to the forefront of the small screen.

Wendy admitted while speaking on Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast that she thought about walking away from the franchise after the brutal fight played out between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett. The mother of three was horrified to have witnessed the altercation, saying, “I think everybody reacted like this is not the norm. I think there was a hot mic moment when I was standing there. And I said to the ladies around me. I didn’t sign up for this.”

The rookie went on to condemn the bad behavior, saying, “We can get messy, we can do fun days, but this right here is not what I signed up for. And when I said that at that moment, a few of the ladies responded, this is not why I signed up for either. So it’s very clear that that’s not what we wanted.” The John Hopkins University professor told the host the fight gave the whole cast “pause” to think about their role on the show. Wendy even told listeners that she sent a text to an executive saying, I want to have a conversation.”

Wendy hinted at returning for season six, but made it clear she is worried about what she may be in for. Bravo fans love the franchise for the fierce drama the women bring, and Wendy was no exception. Monique has already announced her exit from the show, even though she was given a contract, and it is too early to tell if some of the other women may decide to also say goodbye to Potomac.
