Rumors have been swirling that The Real Housewives of Potomac's Wendy Osefo's husband, Eddie, has been cheating on her for the past few months. The ladies have yet to address the rumors with Wendy herself, but castmate Gizelle Bryant has been going from cast member to cast member, relaying the new gossip she heard. In next week's episode, it seems Gizelle will finally confront Wendy regarding the rumors about her husband.
While it is unclear who started the rumor, Gizelle was the first to bring it up in the group. She first went to Ashley Darby about the rumors just days after Ashley gave birth to her son, Dylan. The mother of two boys was shocked by the news but didn't entertain the gossip too much. After the ladies arrived at the Williamsburg, Virginia estate, Gizelle began gossiping to Robyn about the rumors right before Wendy entered the room. Wendy was completely unaware of what was said about her.
One of the main sources for the Eddie infidelity rumors was an All About The Tea article, which appeared in a recent episode of RHOP. According to the news site, a woman gave them the dirty details on the attorney, claiming he did, in fact, cheat on his 37-year-old wife. Sources who live in the same DMV area as Wendy and Eddie made claims to the publication and even revealed the infidelity would be a topic of conversation on season 6. A solid source close to All About The Tea revealed that "Eddie has a side baby" and is currently having an affair with "a white woman who works in his law firm." In fact, during the season 5 reunion last fall, one of the RHOP househusbands allegedly pulled Eddie aside and confronted him about the rumors that he fathered a child with another woman. The mystery husband warned the newcomer that his massive secret will soon be exposed.
However, it's unclear whether or not this is true, as Wendy made no mention of it at the start of the season. Nonetheless, Wendy and Eddie are putting on a united front amid the infidelity allegations. Since the rumors began to surface, both Wendy and Eddie have been sharing cute family photos on Instagram. Wendy commented on the rumors during an interview with ET, explaining how the drama has not disrupted the couple's relationship. "People go and lie about you, and it is what it is. And I'm OK with that. I know what I signed up for," the professor said, adding her husband is "not fazed" by the accusations. Furthermore, Wendy slammed the blog for starting the rumors, calling them "salacious" and even mentioning how the same blog has reported false rumors on Gizelle's family as well. Nonetheless, Eddie has been nothing but a good husband and father for Wendy, admitting "his only crime" was supporting her "to be on this platform."
Over the past few months, Wendy and Eddie have endured a lot of pain within their family due to the ongoing infidelity rumors. Even though they both know the rumors are false, the accusations could one day hurt their children. Right now, the pair are putting on a united front as they battle the false gossip together.
