The new The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member, Mia Thornton, is opening up about where she met her husband, Gordon Thornton. Viewers were introduced to the reality star on July 11, when the premiere episode of season 6 aired. The cast and the audience found out Mia's husband is more than 32 years her senior. While there was some confusion about the age difference at first, the women were still surprised by how much older Mia's husband is.

Besides the age difference between her and her spouse, Mia also had a back and forth with Wendy Osefo regarding her allegiance to Karen Huger, who brought her into their circle of friends. The 36-year-old said she believed Gizelle Bryant had "a good heart" despite her feud with Karen. Wendy thought what Mia said was odd and thinks she may be trying to plat both sides of the fence. However, it seems the newbie is only trying to fit in.

During an exclusive interview with E! News, Mia spoke about the unconventional place she met her husband, Gordon. On the new July 18 episode, the chiropractor revealed the couple met at a "strip club" while playing the newlywed game with her RHOP castmates and their husbands. "The reason why we became friends is because we partnered and served on the same board for a non-profit organization to raise money for Haiti," Mia told E! News exclusively. "We were raising money for the cause [...] one of the original founders of the organization, she worked there—not as an entertainer, but in the admin office, and so she did use the facility in order to raise money." After that initial meeting, Mia and Gordon have been together ever since.

However, not all the women are buying what Mia is selling. Wendy was vocal about her thoughts and voiced them on Twitter. "First you don't know your age, then within 24 hours you go from her having a 'good heart' to 'just a pretty face,' then you say you're a bartender when we all know you're a stripper. So many lies… but go off sis," Wendy wrote. Mia and Wendy's feud began on the second episode of the new season when Mia said she believed Gizelle had a good heart despite what Karen said about her in the past. The feud continued at Karen's house when Mia backtracked on what she said about Gizelle, and Wendy called her out. The doctor accused Mia of being nothing but a "pretty face" and said she was playing both sides of the fence.

Wendy may have a point about Mia not being totally truthful with how she feels. First, she isn't completely honest with how she met her husband, and then she tries to make nice with Gizelle, who is her friend's sworn enemy. It seems Mia might be messier than she is letting on.
