Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac are questioning Gizelle Bryant's loyalty to Robyn Dixon after seeing her blurt out an insensitive response to Robyn's personal struggles. A clip shared online shows Robyn opening up to the ladies about how tired and unmotivated she has been amid the pandemic. Robyn has been sleeping in late and getting her day started in the afternoon. After admitting to how unattractive Juan Dixon finds Robyn's sluggish behavior, Gizelle questions how they will ever get remarried. The remark rubbed many viewers the wrong way and has them calling out Gizelle for being a bad friend.
Gizelle and Robyn have been dubbed "the green-eyed bandits" of Potomac. The two long-time friends have been the closest among the RHOP ladies since the show's inception. Their close bond has often pitted them against some of the other housewives whenever quarrels with Gizelle arise. With Robyn being so close to Gizelle, she is often thrown into the middle of her many on-air spats. Whether it's Karen Huger, Monique Samuels, or even Gizelle's sorority sister Wendy Osefo, Robyn is always there to have Gizelle's back. But in a recent clip, Gizelle shows how she supports Robyn in return for her loyalty.
Show fans recently blasted Gizelle on Twitter after OMFG Reality TV shared a sneak peek of a recent episode. In the clip, the ladies are enjoying a group dinner date while on their trip to Williamsburg. Robyn musters up the courage to open up to the group about the personal issues she's been having and how it's affecting her relationship with her ex-husband/fiancée Juan Dixon. "I don't know what it is, but I've been like unmotivated lately," Robyn says in the clip. "I will lay in the bed until like 10 o'clock, and then I'll watch TV until 11, and then I'm starting my day at 12." She goes on to admit that Juan isn't a fan of her new behavior. "It's affecting my relationship because Juan is like 'that's not attractive.'"
In a separate clip, Juan is seen scolding Robyn for not getting her day started until around 2:00 pm and telling her that it's a "turn off" for him. After opening up to the ladies, judgment was expected, but no one was expecting it to come from her best friend Gizelle. Gizelle first asks Robyn if she has made any changes. After Robyn admits that she hasn't, Gizelle asks if her behavior is causing Juan to not want to get remarried. "Is he not wanting to walk down the aisle?" Gizelle asks. "No man wants to marry unattractive," she adds. In a confessional, Karen is seen sharing her take on the conversation and calling out Gizelle for not being supportive of her friends whenever they show signs of needing help.
On Twitter, viewers criticized Gizelle even further for being so insensitive towards her closest friend in the group. "For Gizelle being the loneliest HW on the show she sure has a lot of opinions about the other ladies and their relationships," one person said. Another person noted the signs of possible deeper turmoil Robyn could be experiencing amid the ongoing pandemic. "Robyn is expressing what a lot of people are feeling right now. Perhaps her friend should recognize signs of possible depression, encourage counseling & uplift her," they said. While it's all for the love of the shade for Gizelle, shade isn't always necessary when friends are showing signs of needing emotional support. The Real Housewives of Potomac fans aren't letting Gizelle off the hook so easily this time around. If not even Robyn is exempt from Gizelle's unfiltered remarks, no one is safe.
