When looking at the accounts Eddie follows on Instagram, onlookers noticed his seemingly deep interest in women with voluptuous bodies. Considering all the criticism his wife Wendy Osefo is receiving from the ladies about her new body enhancements, some spectators think Wendy might be trying to keep up with the women who get Eddie's attention online. Despite how much of a villain Gizelle Bryant has become this season, some people think she might be on to something.
Eddie has been under fire in season 6, despite only appearing in a few scenes with his wife. Gizelle did the dirty work by spreading cheating rumors about Eddie allegedly fathering a child with another woman. Despite the claims being made in a blog, they trickled into the show after Gizelle went around spreading the word on the street. As a result, she ignited a full-on war with Wendy, who called out Gizelle during their trip to Williamsburg. Gizelle feels like there might be some truth to the rumors and thinks it's what inspired Wendy to get work done on her body and start wearing more revealing clothing.
Most recently, Reddit user u/medamededa89 noticed how "interesting" many of the accounts Eddie follows on Instagram are. The Redditor noticed how many Instagram accounts Eddie follows are run by women with curvy bodies and loads of sultry photos. The person behind the thread agreed with Gizelle and credited Eddie's social media activity for motivating his wife to get her body done. They can now "understand the reason for Wendy’s surgeries and it’s definitely because of Eddie." From reviewing Eddie's apparent love for women with curvy bodies, the Redditor said they were "starting to see why Wendy’s style has changed so much." On the show, Gizelle echoed these comments, criticizing Wendy for drastically changing her fashion choices and claiming Wendy was changing her style to get her husband's attention.
After starting the thread, the Redditor noticed that the number of accounts Eddie followed went from 623 to 495, with many of the curvy, female-run accounts disappearing from his list of followed accounts. "If there were cheating allegations against me I would unfollow those accounts, just saying," one person said in response to Eddie's dropped follower count. Another viewer also noticed a link when comparing the accounts Eddie was following and Wendy's new enemy on the show, Mia Thornton. "This is also explaining a lot about why Wendy is acting so weirdly defensive with Mia," the Redditor said. "She has the exact look and background of the women Eddie follows lol."
Wendy claims she is only dressing sexier to tap into who she really is as a woman. During her debut last season, Wendy was fresh from having her third child and first daughter. Now, with three kids, Wendy got a mommy makeover and has been wearing clothes that show off all the work she had done. But the decision didn't come without skepticism from her castmates and The Real Housewives of Potomac fans, who now think Wendy is only trying to keep up with the type of women her husband seems to be interested in.
