Sonja Morgan of The Real Housewives of New York confirmed her facelift back in July. Fans have since praised how amazing she looks following the cosmetic enhancement. Now, Morgan's showing off the full results of the procedure in a makeup-free selfie.
Morgan has been a standout figure on RHONY since season one in 2008. Through her friendships with the other housewives, especially Ramona Singer, Morgan has been included in much of the drama captured on the show. The last season showed Morgan's showdown with Luann de Lesseps about starring in her cabaret show. Morgan also had quarrels with the other women after she was labeled a trophy wife due to her highly criticized relationship with her ex-husband, John Adams Morgan. Now that she has a new look, will it also result in a new attitude next season?
Morgan is currently enjoying her vacation at the Casa Salles Hotel Boutique in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. The 56-year-old TV personality took to Instagram, where she shared a fresh-faced selfie with her fans. "I know you guys like when I share a pic without makeup. So here’s one from a recent vacation to @casasalleshotel," she captioned the makeup-free pic. "Something in the volcano water there. I slept so well," she added. The photo is one of her first bare-faced photos since announcing her facelift.
Halfway through filming the last season of The Real Housewives of New York, the pandemic caused the Housewives to tape at-home confessionals. Viewers took notice of how different Morgan looked upon her return and speculated if she had some work done during her time off. By July, Morgan announced the news herself in an Instagram post that shared a before and after picture of her face. The Bravo star admitted to undergoing a lower facelift and neck lift after season 12 wrapped. Morgan told fans how she wanted to get rid of the wrinkles around her neck and the “jowls that were starting to form.” Fans have shown support for her more youthful appearance.
In addition to her cosmetic work, Morgan has been busy with her new clothing line and remodeling her home. Like Housewives in other franchises, Morgan recently launched a clothing, jewelry, and beauty line called Sonja by Sonja Morgan. The fashion entrepreneur also debuted the remodel of her $8.75 million townhouse. She let fans in on the special "COVID discount" she offered that reduced the price by $2 million.
