Dorinda Medley from The Real Housewives of New York has finally decided to speak out about her firing on close friend Bethenny Frankel's new podcast. Bravo viewers were happy to finally hear her side of the story.

Dorinda has no doubt been a fan favorite for many seasons. While she may, at times, be a bit too forward with her opinions, fans always found her to be a straight shooter. She often got along with most of her co-stars, with the exception of Tinsley Mortimer. Recently, Ramona Singer unfollowed her longtime friend on Instagram after Dorinda compared her to Donald Trump.

After being fired from RHONY, Dorinda has stayed fairly quiet. But now, the former housewife has finally opened up to her confidant, Bethenny Frankel, on her new podcast, Just B With Bethenny Frankel. While talking to Bethenny, Dorinda revealed her true feelings over being let go by the Bravo network.Fans learned of Dorinda's departure from the franchise back in August. Dorinda was told via a phone call that she was not wanted back. Many insiders have claimed it was because she was a mean drunk. But Dorinda opened up with her former co-star about how hard filming this past season was for her. The blonde started by acknowledging that she did not have a “good season this year” saying, “But I was doing real. You know, that's where I was at that time.” Fans of the "make it nice” queen empathized with her, since they knew she had a flood in her Blue Stone Manor, broke her ribs, and broke up with her long-time boyfriend of seven years. Listen to the interview yourself in the post below:

Dorinda then revealed to listeners that she felt “very scared going into the season because not only was my life very intense with all the things...the house, my father, broke a rib, breaking up with John... So it was like, wow...I was sort of a, I was sort of a toothpick in an ocean. I didn't get my voice out correctly." Bethenny chimed in to tell viewers what she thought would have happened after a housewife had an awful season, explaining, "Everybody always gets their resurrection season. So the next season, the person is super cautious." Fans will remember Luann de Lesseps was given a second chance after her arrest. Dorinda said she honestly thought she would be granted a second chance, saying, "I was looking forward to coming back this year. I was looking forward to having that moment."

Sadly, Dorinda will not get to have her moment on The Real Housewives of New York. She even shared that she found out the news while designing her gingerbread house for her Berkshires home. In the end, the housewife revealed that she felt ultimately rejected by the network, and no one likes rejection.
