Fans of The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City are wondering why Mary Cosby isn't friends with her co-star, Whitney Rose. Mary has always been a bit eccentric and has separated herself from the other women throughout her time on the show. Who could forget the time the preacher fell asleep during the season 1 reunion? Mary marches to the beat of her own drum, but her tune sometimes misses the mark.

Mary is the First Lady of The First Temple church. Thanks to her role as the preacher in the family-run house of prayer, she has been a stand-out personality. Bravo fans learned of Mary's love of Jesus early on. The mother of one takes immense pride in her church, leaving few to doubt her loyalty to her religion. During season 1, Mary opened up about her unconventional marriage to her step-grandfather, Robert Cosby Sr. The pair wed after Mary's grandmother died. Mary may have moved past the initial awkward questions about her relationship, but season 2 will show her fighting against allegations that she is a cult leader.

Mary has alienated herself from the entire cast thanks to her quirky ways. A recent Twitter fight took center stage as Mary went head-to-head with Whitney. Mary was unhappy that Whitney spoke out against her and retaliated by calling her a "bobblehead." Both women seemed in a good place last season, especially after Mary invited Whitney and her father to her church to pray. Mary and Whitney are on different ends of the spectrum when it comes to their lives in Utah. Mary is happy being a homebody while Whitney is looking for the next big party. The two are oil and water, and finally, the friendship is at its breaking point.

In a series of since-deleted tweets, Mary took aim at Whitney for being a "liar." Mary made it clear that the two had not spoken in a long time. The First Lady also shared that Whitney needed to humble herself and was too hungry for attention. Mary is no stranger to isolating herself from the group of women. During The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 1, she lost her cool with Jen Shah. Their entire battle came down to a comment about Jen smelling like a hospital, but the argument ended their friendship.

Originally, Mary was cast to be a "friend of" the housewives since she was not close with anyone in the group of women. As season 1 went on, the production company eventually signed her as a full-time housewife. It could be that Mary finds herself on the outs with the other women because she never fully formed a genuine relationship with any of them. The mother of one is not a fan of apologizing (or admitting when she is wrong), but fans can't deny that she was made to be a housewife. It looks like the ship has sailed on Whitney and Mary's friendship, but hopefully, the preacher can salvage a friendship or two before the season ends.
