Star of The Real Housewives of Orange County Kelly Dodd revealed she will only return to the show if costar Braunwyn Windham-Burke gets fired. The two orange-holding wives feuded for the entirety of the franchise’s fifteenth season. The show recently finished airing its conclusive two-part reunion, which insinuates that contract renewals for season sixteen are on the horizon. Dodd made the ultimatum during an Instagram live on Tuesday, January 26.

Dodd received constant criticism from both fans and Windham-Burke over her COVID-19 opinions. The controversial housewife clapped-back with accusations that Windham-Burke was faking her sobriety in order to have a storyline. Windham-Burke stated previously that she might not return because of her feelings for her castmates, including Dodd. Dodd’s Instagram remarks insinuate that filming with the sophomore star is not a cakewalk either.

“I know I cannot film with Braunwyn” said Dodd on Instagram live. “There’s just no way and if she comes back then I’m out because I know for a fact that I cannot. She’s dangerous and calling people racists and homophobic,” stated the forty-five-year-old housewife. Windham-Burke previously called Dodd racist for wearing an “ALL WIVES MATTER” hat in the midst of the Black Lives Matter movement. The mother of seven additionally accused Orange County OG Vicki Gunvalson of being homophobic after the ex-housewife did not believe it was appropriate for Windham-Burke to be making out with girls on television. Windham-Burke has since come out of the closet as a lesbian woman.

The validity of Dodd’s threat will remain to be seen, as many feuding housewives tend to make this claim with zero follow-through. Additionally, Dodd suggested on Instagram that she might be fired following her beef with host Andy Cohen at the reunion. The housewife told the Watch What Happens Live host he was anti-American for not supporting former president Donald Trump. Dodd clarified her comments in an interview with E! News. “My point with Andy was that you can always find negative comments on social media,” said the self-proclaimed Libertarian. “My point wasn’t always to find negative comments about me, but I was saying you can find negative comments about him.”

Dodd's dislike for Windham-Burke is not a completely unpopular opinion; it is shared by many fans and several other Orange County housewives. “Don’t judge me with your cynical behavior, your narcissism and your two-faced personality,” yelled newcomer Elizabeth Vargas at the show’s reunion. Veteran housewife Shannon Beador commented on Windham-Burke’s big ego in a behind the scenes clip with Dodd. Several accusations of Windham-Burke faking storylines for the show have been thrown around, including her and husband Sean’s infamous love shack.

Dodd and Windham-Burke have both become polarizing figures on The Real Housewives of Orange County. A feud like theirs is most Bravo fans' bread and butter. However, the future of either on the original housewives’ franchise remains to be seen. Fans can formulate their opinions by watching the recently concluded season.
