Fans have noticed that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne's life has undergone major changes this season as a result of her ex-husband's legal trouble. As Erika's hit song, "XXpen$sive," details, it's expensive to maintain the lifestyle that the real housewife was used to before Erika's ex Tom Girardi was sued for stealing money from orphans and widows. From downgrading her home to cutting down on her glam squad, here are all of the changes that have transformed Erika's luxurious lifestyle.

When Erika was first introduced on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 6, she was flaunting her wealth like most housewives on the franchise do. Erika gave all the women a tour of her extravagant mansion, which has been priced at $13 million and famously featured a chapel room. In addition to showing off her lavish home, Erika bragged about the private jets that she owned and regularly used. Most notably, Erika showed up to every event fabulously glammed. Even on group trips across the world, Erika brought her glam squad along with her. While fans welcomed Erika Jayne's stunning looks, everyone was shocked to learn just how much the housewife was dropping on getting glammed up. During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, Erika shared that she spends a jaw-dropping "$40,000 a month" on glam.

Since Tom's shady business transactions were revealed, Erika has been forced to undergo strict budget cuts. One aspect of Erika's life that has been drastically downgraded is her living accommodations. Initially, Erika was living with Tom in an enormous mansion that regularly hosted grandiose parties comparable to those described in The Great Gatsby. After legal woes made their way to Erika, she had to say goodbye to her $13 million estate. Erika was forced to move to a rental in LA that was more modest than the palace she used to live in. Erika Jayne's new rental is only modest by Housewives means, however, as the New York Post reported that the entertainer's current home is "worth $2.2 million and rents for $7,500 per month." While Erika's rental is nothing to scoff at, it's surely a downgrade from the 5-bedroom, 9-bathroom mansion she used to call her home.

Another aspect of Erika's life that has been reduced as a result of her new legal struggles is her glam. Suffice to say, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star can no longer be blowing $40,000 a month on hair, makeup, and outfits. On the reality show, Erika has managed to maintain her fabulous appearance, but outside of the show, Erika has been spotted without any glam. After 5 flawless seasons, fans were shocked to see Erika without an inch of makeup on. Many judged the housewife online, which prompted Erika to reply on Twitter, "Goodnight Twitter, please be in full glam when pumping gas. Apparently, it’s a big deal." Additionally, Erika's critics recently called out the reality star for thanklessly shopping at TJ Maxx. To which Erika replied, "I shopped there for years. I also went to Petco and Target. Stop over analyzing my life."

Because Erika presented her life luxuriously five years ago, fans can't help but notice how unfabulous her lifestyle appears now. From mansions and glam squads to rentals and TJ Maxx, Erika has definitely downgraded. Unfortunately, Erika's expensive introduction on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has made cutting costs look tragic.
