Erika Jayne has had one wild ride of a season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and fans are now taking the controversy to the reality star's Instagram page. Even on social media, Erika hasn't been able to escape the storm of criticism her ex-husband, Tom Girardi's, lawsuit has launched. From accusations of flaunting her wealth to jokes about her search for a new sugar daddy, here's why The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans are condemning Erika's latest Instagram photos.

Erika has had a tumultuous journey on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11. Erika started the new season explaining she suffered from depression during the COVID-19 pandemic. Next, Erika shared she was getting divorced from her husband of 20 years. Erika's RHOBH journey turned upside-down, however, when news of Tom's crimes broke. When the Beverly Hills cast learned that Erika's former spouse stole tens of millions of dollars from his clients, which include widows and orphans, the Chicago star had a lot of explaining to do. When co-star Sutton Stracke learned that Erika's company spent $20 million of Tom's stolen money, RHOBH fans and stars called the reality star's character into question.

A recent episode of Beverly Hills resulted in some of the most criticism Erika has received yet. In the episode, Erika's fellow housewives questioned what she knew about Tom's alleged crimes. Erika's co-stars like Sutton, Garcelle Beauvais, and Dorit Kemsley also expressed how difficult they found it to support Erika in the midst of her accusations. Through sobs, Erika explained she was frustrated with the way Tom's wrongdoings have affected her, as she demanded Dorit "look at my f****** life." Evidently, Erika was longing for a return to the fabulousness that came with her life before The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as she shared three new pictures on her Instagram that featured the risqué character Erika was known to be. Unfortunately for the reality star, RHOBH fans were more than happy to give Erika a reality check.

While many of Erika's followers greeted the housewife's provocative pictures with praise, dozens of comments condemned the reality TV star's behavior. Beloved RHOA star Kandi Burruss commented fire emoji's under Erika's sexy Instagram pics, but other users in the comment section had an issue with the performer's posts. The main reason why RHOBH fans reacted so negatively to Erika's pictures is that they felt it was disrespectful to the victims of her husband's crimes. One follower commented, "Out of respect for the widows and orphans who have $0 cash currently, maybe posting these super produced, glammed, expensive shots should take a back burner." Another Instagram user responded, "I guess you are not really worried about the orphans and widows, shame on [you]." Other critics made fun of Erika in the comments, claiming she was "desperate" and "looking for another sugar daddy."

Erika might not be responsible for the money that Tom stole from widows and orphans, but fans aren't letting her off the hook for her alleged involvement. She wants to return to her old life, but fans think Erika is being insensitive to the victims by flaunting her lavish lifestyle. She might be a star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but this is one instance where viewers don't want to see just how fabulous Erika is.
