After two seasons on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsactress Denise Richards announced her departure earlier this month. She said her desire to spend more time with her family prompted her to leave. Her decision is getting full support from her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen.

The Bold and the Beautiful actress starred in the last two seasons of RHOBH, but left abruptly following a tumultuous end to season 10. Richards became the center of attention after Brandi Glanville claimed to have had an affair with her. Richards denied the claims multiple times and even accused Brandi of sleeping with other women in the cast. She then issued out cease-and-desist letters to members of the cast that prevented them from talking about the allegations. Richards attended the reunion taping, but didn't hide how much she didn't want to be there. After announcing her exit, the other housewives on the show said they weren't surprised.

It was no secret that the Brandi scandal played a part in Denise's decision to leave. She previously shared how she felt like a "target" this season. Now that she's off the show, sources close to the Wild Things star say she's looking forward to spending more quality time with her husband, Aaron Phypers, and her three daughters, Eloise, 9, Lola, 15, and Sam, 16. Richards' ex-husband has also expressed his support for her decision. “She does what she wants in these matters,” Sheen's publicist told Page Six on Wednesday. “And I applaud her decision of ‘one and done.’”

Richards shares her oldest daughters, Lola and Sam, with Sheen. She adopted her youngest, Eloise, and shares her with current husband Aaron. Richards and Sheen were married from 2002 to 2006 when they welcomed their two daughters. They have remained friends while co-parenting their children following their divorce.  Sheen had no words on the Richards affair rumors. Brandi most recently came forward with details surrounding the alleged hookup and claimed that she first slept with Richards just 10 days after she married her husband, Aaron. She claimed Richards was "sexually aggressive" during the affair that began back on Sept. 18, 2018, at the Rande Gerber’s Café Habana in Malibu.

It appears Richard's cease-and-desist letter did nothing to stop Brandi from speaking out. She has been addressing the allegations on her podcast and media appearances. But according to Richards, "success is the best revenge." Now, the question is who will replace Richards on RHOBH, and will any other housewives make an exit? Newcomer Garcelle Beauvais has said she had a deal with Richards that if she left the show, Garcelle would too. Next season will reveal if she stays true to her word.
