Cynthia Bailey from The Real Housewives of Atlanta hit some obstacles during her wedding this past month. Bravo was supposed to film the event for the show, but bailed due to coronavirus concerns.

Fans first met Cynthia when she joined the show for its third season along with former housewife, Phaedra Parks. She developed a close relationship with Nene Leakes throughout the show, but recently they seem to have drifted apart. Just a few weeks ago, Cynthia finally tied the knot for the third time with her new husband, Mike Hill. Despite some claims that it was selfish to have such a large wedding during a pandemic, Cynthia and Mike seemed to enjoy their big day.

According to Daily Mail, Bravo could not film Cynthia and Mike's wedding due to coronavirus restrictions and hurricane Delta charging through Georgia. Cynthia did not want to cancel her big bash and decided the show must go on. The reality star hired her own camera crew to capture the special day after Bravo bailed on filming at the last minute. Filming became a problem when the weather forced Cynthia to take her outdoor wedding inside. According to TMZ reports, the wedding had to move inside just two days before the event took place, due to the weather conditions. With the event now indoors, many COVID-19 concerns were raised to Bravo, especially since the wedding included over 180 guests. Bravo decided it just wasn't safe enough for them to film and canceled on Cynthia. Luckily, the reality star had her own crew on hand and will be giving production the footage she filmed.

In order to make sure all her guests were safe, Cynthia had every one of her guests get their temperature checked, and requested everyone wear a mask unless they were sitting down to eat or drink. Guests were even required to take a COVID test and were only allowed to attend if it came back negative within five days of the wedding. Cynthia also went into detail on her Instagram about the procedures she went through to sanitize the venue, such as the use of a disinfectant mist. Some of Cynthia's guests included her RHOA castmates, such as Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Eva Marcille, and Marlo Hampton. Kandi, Eva, and Kenya even served as bridesmaids for Cynthia, who she could not imagine the day without.

Even though Bravo could not film Cynthia's wedding, the RHOA star was able to get some footage of her own. Hopefully, fans will be able to see what goes down on her big day in the upcoming season of RHOA.
