Brandi Glanville, Vicki Gunvalson, and Tamra Judge are calling themselves the new “Tres Amigas” as they film for the all-stars spin-off, Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. The new show will air on Peacock and includes many of the past favorites, as well as some current cast members. Fans are relieved to see the former icons, especially after a year of low ratings for the Bravo franchise. Season 1 of the spin-off was already filmed in the spring but hasn't yet premiered. Season 2 (which includes Dorinda Medley, Eva Marcille, Jill Zarin, Phaedra Parks, and Taylor Armstrong) is currently shooting in the Berkshires, inside Dorinda’s infamous Bluestone Manor.

The term "Tres Amigas" has an interesting history. It was created by Tamra, Vicki, and Shannon Beador in a past season of The Real Housewives Of Orange County when the three women wanted to solidify their strength as a united front. In some situations, the united front crumbled, and the name was nothing more than a symbolic gesture. But the symbol itself lasted through the series (even as the friendship was thrown in a rollercoaster of disputes) and became an icon for the golden years of the show.

Now, however, the term is being used for a different triad. On Vicki’s Instagram Stories, the OG posted several pictures of herself with Tamra and Brandi. The three were sitting cozy on a couch in the midst of filming for the Real Housewives spin-off. In one of the photos, Tamra leans her head against Brandi’s shoulder, while Brandi is kissing Vicki’s forehead. After the images were posted, Tamra called the three of them the new “Tres Amigas."

The new trio is an interesting mash-up, considering the unspoken history shared between them. Tamra and Vicki, alums from The Real Housewives Of Orange County, both made damaging accusations against each other, which effectively ended their years-long friendship. Tamra and Brandi engaged in a social media battle, stemming from some comments Brandi made about Tamra on her podcast, Unfiltered. In the Real Housewives universe, there’s nothing more shocking than a violent switch from enemies to friends, but moments like this prove it's possible.

In the past, Dorinda’s Bluestone Manor has been a hotbed of bizarre activity. Some of the wildest parties in the history of the franchise were on this estate. The castmates have held screaming matches on the couches, as well as long drunken kisses in the middle of the night. The parties are so legendary that the entire town is now known as the "Berzerkshires." If the mansion’s reputation says anything about the Real Housewives spin-off, it’s destined to be a hit.
