The second official trailer of House of Gucci shows Lady Gaga taking control of the Gucci family empire. After her starring role in her film debut A Star Is Born, the Oscar-winning singer and actress will portray Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of arranging the murder of her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci, played by Adam Driver. The crime biopic is based on the Sara Gary Forden book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed and will center around the 1995 murder of the Italian head of the fashion house and the subsequent aftermath. Directed by Ridley Scott, the movie will also star Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons, and Salma Hayek.

MGM has now unveiled another trailer of House of Gucci, revealing more of the drama and extravagance as well as the family's descent into madness. It has become more clear that Gaga's character is set on her status and importance in the Gucci estate and will be integral to the destruction of the family and the events that lead to ordering her husband's death.
