A new Hotel Transylvania short film, titled Monster Pets, has been released online by Sony. Produced by Columbia and Sony Pictures Animation, Hotel Transylvania became wildly successful after its debut in 2012. Riddled with world-famous monsters and voice talents by Hollywood A-listers, Hotel Translyvania follows an ill-fated Dracula (Adam Sandler), who constructs a hotel intended as a haven for monsters. After becoming a box office smash, Hotel Translyvania turned into a full-blown franchise. The fourth and final installment, titled Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, will premiere on July 23, 2021. Now, fans of the film are being treated to a look at the iconic monsters' furry friends.

In honor of the upcoming National Pet Day, Sony Pictures Animation has released Monster Pets, in its entirety, online for repeat viewing. Directed by Jennifer Klusk and Derek Drymon, Monster Pets follows the adventures of Tinkles, Dracula’s boisterous, lovable, monster-sized puppy. Needing to bridle some of  Tinkles’ endless supply of energy, Drac attempts to find a companion for his furry friend, as his duties at the hotel have him too preoccupied to play fetch. Chaos ensues after Tinkles selects a rather unlikely playmate. Checking out the charming Hotel Transylvania short film, Monster Pets, below:
