The fourth and final installment in the Hotel Transylvania franchise officially has its title: Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. Produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation, the animated comedy film franchise has been wildly successful ever since the release of the first Hotel Transylvania back in 2012. The series is littered with fan-favorite classic monsters from Dracula to Frankenstein to The Invisible Man, and its A-List cast of comedy stars makes each entry in the saga an entertaining watch for all the family.

Andy Samberg and Selena Gomez are set to reprise their roles as part of the Dracula family in Transformania, which was originally slated to release in December 2021 and was recently pushed forward to August 6, 2021. Now, the fourth film has been pushed forward again two weeks for a final theatrical release date of July 23, 2021. Additionally, the cast includes Brian Hull, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi and David Spade. Sony announced the new date and title on Twitter, calling it the “final chapter” of the franchise. Unlike many films that are releasing this year, it seems that Transformania will be exclusively shown in theatres, giving fans all the motivation they need to go enjoy the final installment of the franchise on the big screen. Though there are no details about the plot just yet, many of the cast and crew from previous films are confirmed to be returning in some capacity, with previous director Genndy Tartakovsky writing the screenplay. The franchise has always had a great amount of comedic talent behind the camera, and Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is sure to end the series with style.
