While trailblazing through levels in Honkai: Star Rail, players will come across a task on their Interastral Peace Guide that states "Clear Memory Stage 1 of the Forgotten Hall". However, to get to the Forgotten Hall, the Main Character must complete a series of tasks titled "Fleeting Lights". At Trailblaze Level 20 and Equilibrium 1 Pom-Pom will send an initial text called The Conductor's Rewards triggering the start of a Mission. Finish this quest and shortly after reaching Level 21, Pom-Pom will request that the Main Character returns to the Astral Express again because "something doesn't feel right...".

The Fleeting Lights primary quests are easy as they only have the Trailblazer talk to Pom-Pom and look around the Astral Express for something odd. Head to the front of the Parlor Car near the stairs and a desk and find a cracked mirror on the right. New tasks will pop up after the Trailblazer has interacted with the mirror introducing them to the Messenger of the Garden of Recollection. The Messenger will then guide you to the Forgotten Hall where the next task is to clear any stage of the Forgotten Hall. Finish the task by defeating the monsters within it, and then you've cleared the quest Fleeting Lights.

Tell the Truth or Keep it Secret?

Telling the Truth to the crew about the Forgotten Hall and the Garden of Recollection

In Honkai: Star Rail decisions are very important, however, for the text lines of the Fleeting Lights quest they are not. This choice comes from the Messenger asking you to keep her a secret from the crew. Regardless of whether the player tells the truth, you will still have access to the game mode. The only difference is that if the Messenger's secret is leaked she will respond negatively towards you for several visits but eventually, she goes to her standard entrance text.
