The Disney+ reboot/legacy sequel Home Sweet Home Alone features a talented cast of characters who put their all into recreating the Home Alone magic. Home Sweet Home Alone is the sixth movie in the franchise, telling the well-known story of a young child accidentally left alone to deal with criminals in funny and creative ways. Although Macaulay Culkin's Kevin McCallister does not make an appearance, his brother Buzz shows up to further establish the film's connection to its predecessors.

Home Sweet Home Alone is about 10-year-old Max Mercer, who is left behind due to the confusion around last-minute flight rescheduling for his family's holiday trip to Tokyo. Unlike previous films, this Home Alone tries to humanize the robbers, a couple named Pam and Jeff Fritzovski. They believe Max stole something that could be worth enough for them to be able to keep their house and save their own family and will do anything to get it back.

Of course, Max knows nothing about their problems and thinks the couple has come to kidnap him, leading to hilariously escalating encounters. The original Home Alone boasted a strong ensemble cast that helped make the movie such a success, and this reboot has continued that trend. Here's Home Sweet Home Alone's cast and character guide.

Archie Yates As Max Mercer

Archie Yates plays 10-year-old Max Mercer, who is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for vacation. At first, the mischievous Max loves the chance to do whatever he wants without adult supervision, but that joy quickly fades when burglars show up to steal from them. Before Home Sweet Home Alone, Yates played Yorki in JoJo Rabbit and Sprout in the TV series Wolfboy and the Everything Factory.

Ellie Kemper As Pam Fritzovski

Pam is far too determined to quit, even when the job proves to be much more difficult than anticipated, and she has to encourage her husband not to give up. Kemper is best known for playing Erin in The Office and Kimmy Schmidt in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and will next appear in the movie Happiness for Beginners.

Rob Delaney As Jeff Fritzovski
