In the magical, open-ended world of Hogwarts Legacy, players can stumble across a wide range of secrets, but many will miss out on the game's most exciting location. This area, which bears heavy significance in the Harry Potter universe, also makes for an unforgettable in-game experience - yet most players will actually miss the opportunity to visit it for themselves. There's a chance this could change in the future, but for now, it remains one of Hogwarts Legacy's most secretive locations.

Being a prequel to the main Harry Potter series by about one hundred years, there are of course a few differences in Hogwarts and the surrounding wizarding community. However, the majority of the castle remains quite faithful to its more modern counterpart, allowing players to relive the magic of the books and the films to their heart's content. With some good old-fashioned exploration, students will come across most of the places they're looking for, but one particular area - which is ironically the best location in Hogwarts Legacy - won't be so easy to find.

Only Hufflepuffs Can Go To Azkaban In Hogwarts Legacy

Players can access Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy, but only if they're a part of Hufflepuff. This House-exclusive quest takes them on a journey to the wizarding world's high-security prison to speak to a certain inmate, and although it's a scripted, one time visit that doesn't give the student free rein to explore, it's still exciting to get a glimpse into the infamous Harry Potter location (and its Dementor guards). Considering that the exclusive quests for Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin all take place on castle grounds, this is strong evidence to support the fact that Hufflepuff is actually Hogwarts Legacy's best House.

Azkaban Could Be A Future Hogwarts Legacy DLC

Unfortunately, this means that players belonging to Houses other than Hufflepuff can't get into Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy - but it's possible that a future expansion could flesh out this iconic location, making it available to all students. While Portkey Games hasn't made any official announcements at the time of this writing, an expanded Azkaban quest in Hogwarts Legacy would be easy to implement, considering all the assets and map already exist in-game. It's quite likely that it will serve further purpose down the line, but to what extent remains to be seen.

Since players can only visit Azkaban by joining Hufflepuff, this means that Hogwarts Legacy's best location will sadly be missed by most. After all, even though its exclusive quest arguably makes it the best House, Hufflepuff is still the most hated among in-game characters and real-life players alike, having the smallest population of members compared to Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Popularity contest aside, Hufflepuffs can take comfort in the fact that they're the only ones who can access Hogwarts Legacy's best location and visit Azkaban - at least for now.
