In Hogwarts Legacy, players have many ways to make their characters stronger over time. This encompasses everything from acquiring new talents as their level raises to learning new spells, and the customization options are nearly endless. As players have experimented with these possibilities, one fan discovered an incredibly overpowered build that's quite unexpected, and it doesn't center around devastating spells.

There are many choices that matter in Hogwarts Legacy, from the house players choose at the start of the game to the spells they learn and the relationships that are forged. Some choices, like a character's house and assigned talents, can't be changed, so it's important to know the potential different routes the game can take before making decisions. Players do have some deeply powerful attacks in Hogwarts Legacy when it comes to being a strong wizard, but there's one that stands out from the rest.

Hogwarts Legacy's Most Powerful Attack Uses Cabbages

YouTuber Deltia's Gaming discovered that out of all the possible character builds in Hogwarts Legacy, one based around cabbages is the most powerful attack available to players. Using a combination of Chinese Chomping Cabbages, selecting Hogwarts Legacy talents and traits, and a few potions, players will be able to become incredibly overpowered in combat. With this build, players barely need to even cast spells during fights, letting plants do the work for them.

How To Make A Cabbage Hogwarts Legacy Build

Making a cabbage build in Hogwarts Legacy begins with the plants themselves, Chinese Chomping Cabbages, the seeds of which can be bought at Dogweed and Deathcap and grown within the Room of Requirement. From here, players will want to select some specific talents as they level up in the game, the first of which is called Fertilizer. While normally players can only release three cabbages at a time, this talent doubles each throw for six total in any fight. There are other useful talents that enhance this build as well, like Swift and Edurus Potion Potency, which allow for quick dodges and brief invulnerability during fights.

The second main component of the cabbage build involves upgrading gear in Hogwarts Legacy through use of the Loom. Players will want to apply the Herbology III trait, which massively increases the damage done from all plants. This should be done to as many items of apparel as possible, as the effects of the trait will stack and make for some absolutely devastating cabbage attacks. This same trait will apply to Venomous Tentacula, which when grown in combination with Chinese Chomping Cabbages makes for an even more powerful plant build.

Although this is possibly the most oddly powerful character build in Hogwarts Legacy, there's no reason players have to focus on min-maxing via cabbages if they don't want to. First and foremost the game is about roleplaying, not having the best Hogwarts Legacy spells or talents, and this strange build may not match up with every narrative players create for themselves. However, for players perhaps struggling with fights or who have a love of plants, the cabbage-based Hogwarts Legacy attack is perfect.
