Hogsmeade is one of the best ways to get XP early and quickly in Hogwarts Legacy by collecting field guide pages. The entire area can be traversed with ease as there aren't any winding passages as can be seen in Hogwarts Castle. Players will first arrive at Hogsmeade after walking from Hogwarts with their chosen companion. Only 3 out of the 5 spells will be needed for gathering the Field Guide Pages here, except for one page that is hidden behind a locked door. So this makes it really easy to get them all on the first visit.
In this area, there are a whopping 55 Field Guide Pages out of the total 168 that are found in the game. Below is a map of Hogsmeade that indicates the location of every page and which spell is needed for each. It begins in the southern region and continues in a straightforward path hitting all the shops and streets in an easy-to-follow route.
Every Field Guide Page Location In Hogsmeade
The numbering of these locations is based on a recommended route throughout the area, as the field guide pages don't actually have official numbers assigned to them in the game.
1. Hogsmeade Bridge Entrance
Revelio: As soon as you arrive at the sourthern entrance to Hogsmeade, use the Revelio spell just before the bridge. Aligned yourself specifically on the left side of the path and cast Revelio.
2. Flying Page: Entrance
Accio: There will be a flying page circling the southern side of the building next to Tomes and Scrolls. Use Accio to pull the page to you and obtain it.
3. Flying Page: South Water Well
Accio: After entering the city, turn right to head east of the first building. Behind the building, there will be a flying page by the water well. Use the Accio spell to pull the page to you.
4. Flying Page: Tomes and Scrolls
Accio: Enter the Tomes and Scrolls shop. Head to the right side of the shop where you can interact with a book on the desk. This will unveil a stairway to the second floor of the shop. While you can technically use Accio to pull the page down to you on the first floor, up on the second floor it is much easier to see the flying page.
5. Enchanted Staircase
Revelio: After you've interacted with the book to obtain the flying page in step 4, you can now also use Revelio to reveal a hidden field guide page right in front of the newly visible staircase.
6. Ceridwen’s Precarious Cauldrons
Revelio: Just outside the Tomes and Scrolls shop, head north and you will see many cauldrons piled up outside in the street. Use Revelio in front of these cauldrons to reveal a hidden field guide called Ceridwen's Precarious Cauldrons.
7. Flying Page: Behind Tomes and Scrolls
Accio: Walk out back, behind the Tomes and Scrolls shop. Walk north of the shop icon in the grassy area to find a page flying above. Use Accio to grab the page.
8. Moth Painting in Hogs Head Alley
Lumos: Very close to the flying page in step 7, you will find a Moth mirror sitting by the wall. Use Lumos when looking at the mirror to reveal the location of the moth. Next, find the moth out behind the Hog's Head, cast Lumos if your wand is not already lit and carry it back to the mirror. Turn off the Lumos spell to allow the moth to return to the mirror, unveiling a hidden page to collect.
9. Mounted Hog's Head
Revelio: Head into the Hog's Head shop and cast Revelio when looking at the shop keeper. A hidden field guide page will appear right in front of you.
10. Hog's Head Docks
Revelio: Walk through the Hog's Head bar and go out the back door. Take a look at the giant keg on the dock, and cast Revelio.

11. Flying Page: West Bridge
Accio: Head to the westernmost bridge in Southern Hogsmeade, and just south of it you will find a flying page. This bridge is located between the Magic Neep shop and J. Pippin's Potions. Use Accio to pull the page to you to collect it.
12. The Magic Neep Cart
Revelio: Get to the Magic Neep shop cart where there is a man sitting on a stool. To the left of him, cast Revelio to see a hidden field guide page.
13. Flying Page: The Magic Neep
Accio: Flying around the roof of the Magic Neep shop is another page to collect by casting Accio to pull it to you.
14. J. Pippin’s Potions
Revelio: Head to J. Pippin's Potion shop in the western area of Hogsmeade. Inside the shop, there is a table with cauldrons on it. Cast Revelio here to unveil the "J. Pippin's Potions" hidden field guide page.
15. Hogsmeade Community Garden
Revelio: There is a Hogsmeade Community Garden just east of the West Hogsmeade Floo Flame. You can fast travel to the floo flame and head east, up some stone steps. In front of the garden, use Revelio to reveal the "Hogsmeade Community Garden" hidden field guide page
16. Flying Page: Ollivander's Alley
Accio: Between Ollivander's shop and Zonkos Joke Shop, there is an alley with steps. You should see a flying page traveling around this area. Use Accio to pull it to you and collect the page.
17. Ollivanders Wand Shop
Revelio: Right outside of Ollivander's wand shop, you can use Revelio while looking at the front door. This will reveal the hidden guide page, "Ollivander's Wand Shop".
18. Spintwitches Sporting Needs
Revelio: Use the South Hogsmeade floo flame if required, then head west into Spintwiches Sporting Needs. Inside the broom vendor's shop just beside Albie Waters, cast Revelio to reveal the hidden field guide page "Spintwitches Sporting Needs".
19. Flying Page: Purple Trees
Accio: In the very south-eastern reaches of Hogsmeade (arguably, outside of the city...) you will find some beautiful purple trees. Here you should be able to see a flying page soaring about. Cast Accio to propel the page to you, adding it to your collection.
20. Moth Painting: Spire Alley
Lumos: Within Spire Alley, just north-east of the South Hogsmeade Floo Flame, you will find a moth painting on the ground, resting up against the building. Cast Lumos to reveal the location of the moth, then head east to the rock fence. When you see the moth by the fence, have Lumos casted to attract the moth, bring it back to the painting and recast to turn it off. The moth will now return to the painting.

21. Butterbeer Barrels
Revelio: Right smack-dab in the middle of Hogsmeade you will find some kegs that have a banner that says "Delicious Butterbeer". To get here, you can take the South Floo Flame and head east, as noted in the accompanying picture. Cast Revelio to reveal the hidden page called "Butter beer Barrels".
22. The Three Broomsticks
Revelio: Head inside The Three Broomsticks pub in the center of town. Within the pub, you will find a fireplace at the end of the room. Cast Revelio to find the hidden field guide page called "The Three Broomsticks".
23. The Three Broomsticks Private Room
Revelio: Head to the very top floor of The Three Broomsticks pub. You will find a door with a level 1 lock which requires level 1 Alohomora, learned by collecting Moon Statues and turning them into Gladwin Moon. Once you open the lock and enter the room, you can use Revelio to reveal the hidden page "The Three Broomsticks Private Room".
24. Alley Northeast of The Three Broomsticks
Accio: In an alley just northeast of The Three Broomsticks pub, there will be a flying page weaving through the buildings. Once you spot the page, use Accio to collect it and add it to your collection.
25. Zonko's Joke Shop
Revelio: Head to Zonko's Joke Shop, which is indicated on the map. If you cannot find it easily, simply use the West Hogsmeade Floo Flame and head east from there. When you get to the shop, use Revelio just outside the front door. This will reveal the hidden page called "Zonko's Joke Shop".
26. Frog Spawn Soap
Revelio: After step 25, head into Zonko's Joke Shop and head to the shelves with products on them. Here you can use Revelio to reveal the hidden field guide page for "Frog Spawn Soap".
27. Dungbomb
Revelio: Head upstairs in Zonko's Joke Shop to find the second level, you will see more shelves with products on them. Use Revelio again to reveal the hidden field guide page called "Dungbomb"
28. Flying Page: Water Ridge
Accio: In the alley northeast of J. Pippin's potion shop, spot the flying page on the ledge above the water. Cast Accio on to collect it.
29. Gladrags Wizardwear
Revelio: In front of the door to Gladrags Wizardwear, marked on the map by the Top Hat icon, there will be a hidden field guide page. Cast Revelio on it, thankfully the shop wasn't destroyed by the Troll that rampaged through the town.
30. Water Well
Revelio: There is a well located between Madam Snelling's Tress Emporeum (the Scissors) and Gladrags Wizardwear. Cast Revelio to reveal the hidden field guide page "Water Well".

31. Flying Page: Grassy Hill
Accio: In the alley northeast of Madam Snelling's Tress Emporeum, there's a page flying above the grassy section. You can access it by climbing the ledge above the water well in the previous. Cast Accio, to bring the page to you and add it to your collection.
32. Flying Page: North Pathway
Accio: Strolling along the northern path behind Madam Snelling's Tress Emporeum toward the Scrivenshaft Quill Shop you'll see a flying page patrolling above. Cast Accio to bring it towards you.
33. Sneakoscope
Revelio: Head inside Gladrags Wizardwear, to the left of the entrance you'll see a skeleton of a large bird. The table beside has a display case with what is known as a "Sneakoscope" in it. Cast Revelio infront of it to reveal the page.
34. Gladrags Mannequin
Revelio: There's a wardrobe with a pink mannequin to the left of a dresser as you walk inside Galdrags Wizardwear. A hidden field Guide Page will be here to add to your collection.
35. Magical Mail
Revelio: You can't miss the post office, as it has many owls out front in their cubbies! Enter the building, which is just south of the North Hogsmeade floo flame, and immediately in front of you will be boxes and mail slots. Use revelio here to reveal the hidden field guide page "Magical Mail".
36. Flying Page: Steepley & Sons
Accio: Just south of the North Hogsmeade Floo flame, you will find the Steepley & Sons shop. Outside of this shop there is a flying page soaring about. This flying page will fly around and circle the tea shop building. Use the Accio spell to draw the page to you and capture it.
37. Tea Shop Decor
Revelio: Enter the Steepley & Sons tea shop south of the North Hogsmeade floo flame. When you are inside, look at the table with cake and apples on it. Cast Revelio to unveil the hidden field page called "Tea Shop Decor".
38. Hengist Of Woodcroft
Revelio: There is a statue outside just south of the North Hogsmeade Floo Flame. When looking at the statue, cast Revelio to find the hidden page called "Hengist Of Woodcroft" and acquire it.
39. Honeydukes
Revelio: Head east of the North Hogsmeade Floo Flame and you will encounter the Honeydukes candy shop. Here you can cast Revelio in front of the shop, and the "Honeydukes" page will reveal itself to the right of the door. Don't skip this shop as there are more inside.

40. Fizzing Whizzbees
Revelio: Once you get inside Honeydukes, find the shelf that says "Fizzling Whizzbees", and cast Revelio. Here you will find the hidden field guide page with the appropriate name!
41. Exploding Bonbons
Revelio: Also inside Honeyduke's candy shop, you will find the area in the image above. Where these candies and chocolate are located, use Revelio to unveil the hidden field guide page called "Exploding Bonbons".
42. Scrivenshaft Cats
Revelio: To the west of the North Hogsmeade Floo Flame, you will find the Scrivenshaft Quill Shop. Inside, you will find an enclave with some drawers and cats roaming about. Within this room, cast Revelio to reveal the "Scrivenshaft Cats" field guide page.
43. Brood and Peck
Revelio: Northwest of the North Hogsmeade Floo Flame, you can find the icon on the map for the Brood and Peck. Inside this shop, just up above the few steps, you can use Revelio to find a hidden page called "Brood and Peck".
44. Flying Page: Northern Bridge
Accio: Head to the northernmost bridge of Hogsmeade. In this area, you will find a flying page soaring around the bridge. Use Accio to pull the page to you to collect it.
45. Flying Page: Hogsmeade Square
Accio: Heading north-east from the North Hogsmeade Floo Flame, you will come across a pond. Here you can find a flying page soaring above the pond. Use Accio to pull the page to you and collect it.
46. Flying Page: Eastern Ridge
Accio: After collecting the flying page at the Hogsmeade pond, head east. There are two small buildings on the east side of town. Slightly north of those buildings there will be a flying page. Use Accio to collect the field guide page.
47. Flying Page: Water Wheel
Accio: In one of the northernmost areas of Hogsmeade you will find a Water Mill. If you are standing to the west of the mill, look above into the skies. You should see a flying page hovering about. Cast Accio to bring the page to you, collecting it and adding to your tally.
48. Moth Painting North of Hogsmeade in The Water Wheel
Lumos: After you've collected the flying page from outside the water wheel, venture inside. Inside the water wheel building, there is a moth painting on the ground. Cast Lumos to get the clue of where to find the moth. There should be a path behind you. Follow the path that leads towards town until you see the lamp post. Cast Lumos again at the lamp post to attract the moth and bring it back to the painting. Cast Lumos again to turn the light off and allow the moth to go into the painting.
49. Moth Painting inside Dogweed and Deathcap
Lumos: In the very north-most part of Hogsmeade you will find the Dogweed and Deathcap shop. This is the shop noted by the mushroom on its icon and also where you can buy plants and seeds for the room of requirement. Within this shop you will find a moth painting on the floor. Cast Lumos to reveal the location of the moth. Head above the building toward the chimney to find the moth. Cast Lumos to attract the moth and return it to the painting in the shop.

50. Flying Page: Dogweed and Deathcap
Accio: Above the Dogweed and Deathcap building that you are in for step 49, you will find a flying page. Stand outside the building and look up to see the flying page. Use Accio to bring the page to you and add it to your collection.
51. Dogweed and Deathcap Tree
Revelio: There is a tree inside the Dogweed and Deathcap building. Use Revelio while looking at the tree to show the hidden field guide page waiting to be collected!
52. Abandoned Shop
Revelio: West of the Dogweed and Deathcap building, there is another small building. This is an abandoned shop that is now vacant inside. Stand outside this shop building and cast Revelio to collect the field guide page called "Abandoned Shop".
53. Flying Page: The Old Fool
Accio: There is also a flying page above the abandoned shop "The Old Fool", just slightly to the east of the building. On the hill beside the shop, you should be able to see the page flying overhead. Use Accio to collect the page.
54. Moth Painting inside The Old Fool
Lumos: Inside "The Old Fool" in the North-West region of Hogsmeade, you will find a Moth Painting. Cast Lumos to reveal the painting, then head out behind the building. You will find a pile of boxes with a moth sitting atop them. Cast Lumos to attract the moth, guide it back to the painting then recast Lumos to turn it off. The moth will then join the painting and unveil the hidden field page for you to collect.
55. Flying Page: Hogsmeade Graveyard
Accio: Apologies for this being out of order as it was the last one we couldn't find for a while. The final page is located in the far western area outside of town, west of the magic neap at step 12 of this guide. It's up the hill to the north flying above where some sheep are grazing.
