Whether it's investigating every nook and cranny of the magical school, or exploring the lush landscapes of the surrounding region, there's plenty to do in Hogwarts Legacy as is - but two new DLCs may already be hiding in plain sight. Expanding upon these locations would not only make sense from an in-game story standpoint, but also from the perspective of the developer, and so it seems likely that players could see these areas fleshed out in the near future.

Considering the sheer scope of the wizarding world, the possibilities for a Hogwarts Legacy DLC or a sequel are truly endless. Portkey Games could grant players the opportunity to explore other iconic locations from the Harry Potter series, such as the Ministry of Magic Headquarters or Diagon Alley (alongside Knockturn Alley). In fact, Hogwarts Legacy should be the end of Hogwarts, as there are numerous other wizarding schools with stories simply waiting to be told. But while a sequel could take years, two new expansions could be right under players' noses already.

Quidditch Could Become A Hogwarts Legacy DLC

It's quite possible that the first Hogwarts Legacy DLC will allow students to play Quidditch. Canonically being the most popular magical sport, its absence from the open-world RPG came as a shock to the Harry Potter community. However, Headmaster Black's half-hearted excuse for canceling the season and the fully-built Quidditch pitch on the map suggest that it was only ever to be excluded from the base game. With the quick addition of another mini-game and a change of heart from Headmaster Black, a Quidditch DLC for Hogwarts Legacy could bring the beloved sport to the title - and it could even introduce multiplayer or PvP elements, as well.

Hogwarts Legacy May Introduce Azkaban As An Expansion

Similarly, another DLC could let all students get into Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy. The infamous prison, known for housing the most dangerous dark witches and wizards, is also already featured in-game, complete with a few prisoners and Dementor guards. It's currently only accessible via a short Hufflepuff-exclusive side quest, but given that it's an entirely separate map with unique characters, it's unlikely that Portkey Games would have created it for a one-time excursion only available to some students. Instead, a future Azkaban DLC for Hogwarts Legacy could likely be on its way, alongside a mysterious story, the iconic Expecto Patronum spell, or even a jail mechanic.

With both Quidditch and Azkaban already one foot in the door, they are likely to be the subjects of upcoming expansions. Some might believe that excluding Quidditch from Hogwarts Legacy was right, whereas others might not wish to meet the wizarding world's soul-sucking Dementors (understandably so). But witches and wizards who are eager to venture further into the magical world should keep their eyes peeled for both Azkaban and Quidditch DLCs for Hogwarts Legacy.
