In Hogwarts Legacy, there are so many routes that the developer could take in planning a DLC for the game, even besides the frequently requested Quidditch expansion, and one DLC that could make an incredible questline full of lore and fascinating reveals would be to continue following the story started by one of the house quests. Throughout the game, most of the quests are largely the same regardless of which house the player belongs to. There is one specific deviation to this where players are following clues looking for missing pages and each house takes a different approach to it, with a unique bit of lore given to them each.

No DLC has yet been announced for Hogwarts Legacy, although the game is perfectly set up for a couple of wonderful DLCs to be created. If a DLC were to continue building on the story that was started with the Hufflepuff quest, a fascinating story could be created. The ghost of Richard Jackdaw and his ill-fated love story with Anne Thisbe never really has a satisfying conclusion in the game and could be delved into much deeper.

The Hufflepuff House Quest In Hogwarts Legacy Visits Azkaban, But Only Briefly

Sadly, it's true that Hufflepuff is not the favored house in the Harry Potter universe, no matter the generation. However, the house quest for Hufflepuff is, by far, the most intriguing of the four. In these few quests, before the story reconvenes with the rest of the main storyline, the player is taken to Azkaban for a few short minutes to visit a prisoner there. Walking the halls of that wizard's prison is creepy and dark, but also very detailed and thought-provoking.

An Azkaban DLC For Hogwarts Legacy Would Be Dark, But Interesting

Azkaban is a psychologically taxing location, so any Hogwarts Legacy DLC focused there would need to be well-balanced with humor and love, or else the entire feel could easily become overwhelming. Of course, this is by design as that is how the prison is controlled, particularly with the guards being dementors. A DLC would be a chance for the developer to further follow Anne's story, though likely that would also not have a cheerful conclusion, and players could explore more of the curiosities of Azkaban prison and the history and lore surrounding it.

The ideas of Quidditch and Azkaban being featured as future DLC for Hogwarts Legacy seems to be a logical progression for how some of the stories in the game are set up. Nothing has been announced yet for any future DLC, particularly as the developer is likely still focused on releasing the base game for the Nintendo Switch later this year. The success of Hogwarts Legacy overall certainly warrants further expansions to the wizarding world, and hopefully something will be announced soon.
