A new photo from Disney's Hocus Pocus 2 shows the Sanderson sisters dancing onstage. The highly-anticipated sequel comes nearly three decades after Hocus Pocus first enchanted audiences. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy played the Sanderson sisters, three witches hellbent on staying young forever. After they are accidentally conjured back to life, it's up to a group of young kids to save Salem. While the movie initially flopped at the box office, it's reached cult classic status over the years largely thanks to the everlasting performances of Midler, Parker, and Najimy.

Disney delighted fans by green-lighting a sequel to the movie with the original trio of witches back in action. Helmed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal), the big mouse has attempted to keep the storyline under tight lock and key. Of course, once production began filming on fake Salem sets in Rhode Island, onlookers started to piece together plot details. One scene that was particularly tough to hide was a large musical number shot at an outdoor Halloween festival in the town's square. Photos and videos of the Sanderson sisters performing a song onstage began to leak online.

Hocus Pocus Guide, the digital aficionado of all things HP, shared the latest look at the Sanderson sister's new musical number. The photo captures Winnie (Midler), Sarah (Parker), and Mary (Najimy) Sanderson mid-choreography on a spooky-looking stage. Signed by all three stars, the print was a wrap gift to cast and crew members (along with a custom jacket) after the movie finished production in January. Check out the wicked photo below:

The photo confirms that the Sanderson sisters will once again enchant audience members with a spellbinding musical number. The side clap is a perfect move for the trio, who first flaunted their performance skills during their now-iconic rendition of I Put A Spell On You in Hocus Pocus. Winnie's centerstage stance makes it clear that she will lead her sisters in this song, which is said to be Blondie's One Way Or Another. Much like the first film, the sisters appear to be performing at a Halloween event - this time a major festival - and use music to put a spell over attendees.

While knowing that Hocus Pocus 2 will include a musical number or two brings a certain peace to fans, it also conjures up some anxiety. It's going to be tough to compete with the brilliance of I Put A Spell On You, but the follow-up flick has exactly what they need to do so: all three original Sandersons. Simply seeing the terrifyingly terrific threesome back in action is enough to elicit applause from viewers. Of course, everyone will have to hold their claps until Halloween season 2022.
